Does anyone know the words that will make the sick girl laugh (and open up the wall-papers)?

Does anyone know if the Bard in Mauville does anything other than the Skitty song (regardless of what you answer him with)?
 
no one to my knowledge has figured out the saying, though i think it varies depending on trainer # or something

the bard is one of the things that is determined by your last digit in your trainer ID. I believe you can change 1 word in hi song, and then mix records to trade him to another RuSa or E cart, and then they can change 1 word.... thats about all he does....
 
The wallpaper thing is only in the Japanese version. You would go to the Japanese Pokemon fan site, become a member (i'm a member :biggrin: ), go to a special area where you would input your ID number and then it would tell you what to say. If anyone wants to know what some of the wallpapers are just ask me. As of yet there is no way to get the wallpaper in the US.

That has nothing to do with it. On the Japanese site, it gives you the word to say (not even a word, just random letters) in Kanji. You can't USE Kanji in the English game. :p
 
I always thought the pokemon games were written in katakana.
Oh, well, i tried doing those things, (although the bard I didn't really bother with), with no results.
Maybe even mixing records will give you a chance to chage the wallpaper.

Glad you asked since i'm a member I have access to all the wallpapers they also give you the option of downloading it to use as your desktop image.
Here are some brief descriptions of the different wallpapers:
1. Blue background with white bubbles on the top and bottom and yellow Pikachu heads in the middle.
2. Blue background with the eyes, mouth, and symbol of the evolution of Barboch, lightning bolts along bottom.
3.Light blue background with masterballs.
4.Orange boarder, green inside of border with green pokeballs.
5.Pink background with pink + signs in white circles.
6.Blue background with blue - signs in white circles.
7.Pink background with boxes outlined in white, yellow Digglets.
8.Green background with white and yellow( can't make out what the yellow dots are) dots along the edges.
9.Pink background with white, red, blue, yellow, and green dots that are going toward the top right corner, White Luvdisc ( just the shape).
10.Orange boarder with Luvdiscs inside the boarder.
11.Yellow background with contest ribbons on both sides.
12.Light Blue background with blue stars in middle with master contest ribbon inside the circle.
13.White and Red background, red looks like triangles, red on top and bottom, Team Magma Symbols (hard to explain).
14.Red background with white Team Magma symbols.
15.Groudon and Kyoger, Groudon in top left corner, Kyoger in bottom right corner, red on above Kyoger and blue below Groudon(hard to explain).
16.Same as 15 except the two colors switch places.
17.Same as 14 except blue background and Team Aqua symbols.
18.Same as 13 except white and blue background and Team Aqua symbols.
19.The Pikachu one.

Thats all there is.
 
The site that I went to was the offcial Japanese Pokemon Fan Club Website. The web address is
www.pokemon.jp if your curious, but you have to join to view alot of the content on the site.
The wallpaper I think is only on the Japanese Game and so far Nintendo hasn't released anything about it. If they released any info it would more then likely be in Nintendo Power.
