The strategy of this deck is to win the game by killing specific pokemon. Each pokemon in the deck is there for a reason:
Empoleonhe is the main attacker in the deck. His first attack is quite good, 40 on one of your oppontentsw pokemon. His second attack is very good with just 3 energies 70 on the active and if heads 20 on 1 of the bench. 130 hp is very good for a stage 2.
Empoleon Lv.XI included this mainly for the power. His attack is good but (80 on a pokemon) but you cannot attack on the next turn. So I use empoleon’s attacks and only use his attack only when really necessary.
Octilleryhe is there mainly for the second attack(see translations below), but his first attack can also be very useful against decks which relies on special energies. 80hp is not bad for a stage 1
Absol Exthe only reason why absol ex is in the deck is because of his power. Moving 3 damage counters from 1 pokemon another is very useful especially in this deck because it can attack the bench.
Chingling & Chimechothese are the starters of the deck(see translations below). Prefebly start with chingling, use his attack and get a h.mentor, get chimecho with the h.mentor and start drawing 3 cards p/turn.
Jirachijirachi is a tech against psy weak pokemon and can be very useful because the first attack will stop the powers.
I need help with this deck, especially the trainer lines and can this deck be competitive??
Octillery L.32 – Water – HP80
Stage 1 – Evolves from Remoraid
[C][C] Crush Bomber: 30 damage. If the Defending Pokemon has any Special Energy cards attached, this attack does an additional 30 damage. Then, discard 1 Special Energy card attached to the Defending Pokemon.
[W][W] Aqua Liner: Does 40 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon.
Weakness: Lightning (+20)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1
Chingling L.6 – Psychic – HP40
Basic Pokemon
Poke-Power: Baby Evolution
Once during your turn, you may play Chimecho on top of Chingling (this counts as Evolving Chingling) and remove all damage counters from Chingling.
[.] Welcoming Bell: Search your deck for a Supporter card, show it to your opponent, and put it in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.
Weakness: Psychic (+10)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1
Chimecho L.21 – Psychic – HP70
Basic Pokemon
[C] Call On: Draw 1 card. If Chimecho is evolved from Chingling, draw 2 more cards.
[P] Strange Ringing: 20 damage. If the Defending Pokemon is a Basic Pokemon, the Defending Pokemon is now Confused.
Weakness: Psychic (+20)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1
