I was in a battle a couple of day ago and this situation came up. I tried to research the compendium for the answer but i did not see it.
Dialga G Lvx attacked a Pupitar (SF) with 3 energies on it and no damage The Dailga G LVX rolled heads 3 times. Is the damage done to Pupitar 50 or does it get knocked out?
Pupitar Energy Protection poke body:
Any Damage donre to Pupitar is reduces by 10 for each energy attached to Pupitar (after applying weakness and resistance). You can't reduce more than 3- damage this way.
Dialga G LVX - Remove Lost 80 damage
Flip a coin until you get tails. For each heads, remove an energy cardattached to the Defending Pokemon and put it in the Lost Zone.

I see the answer....The Dialga poke body negates Energy PProtection...the damage should be 80
