Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

EnsignMerlin's Greatest CaC contest yet!

Ok, so to revise my earlier comments...

By "ready your graphics programs" I meant you'll have to make the images yourself or you can go the discription route as well... Not an image faking contest, sorry if I confused you..

That aside, there are indeed 9.

1. Meditite Rox
2. Charmader Rox
3. Hectagonman
4. GreenZangoose
5. Azure Kite
6. Arceus 999
7. Poketo
8. Lucario EX
9. FriedBlaziken

Well I dont have a scanner or any programs that can do much on my computer (unless you count paint) so you just will have to look at a pict and think of the idea.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

But i may be confused

Sorry, I've been practicing and performing for the school talent show today. Out of 5 competing people we got 4th place...
and 2 people tied for third.. ^_^;

Anyway, let the battles begin! First, to determine team captains you must each complete another card! The persons with the 2 highest scoring cards will become team captains. Your cards must fill a certain condition and still follow the accepted conventions of card faking. Since you have yet to truly introduce yourselves, let's let our viewers see what kind of trainers you each are! This week's theme is: YOURSELF!

Theme:Yourself-Due(1 week from today)
Stage(basic, 1, 2, lvX):any
Card type(Pkmn,Trainer,Energy):any
Pokémon Type(fire,water,grass, etc.):any
Mechanics:Must be normal Pokémon, no Pokemon*, Shining, or etc. Must include faker's name in card name.

And now the Rubric:

POKEMON-
Name: Rather basic.. yea.. don't screw it up!-5 points.
Type: Same as above.. -5 points.
HP: not too high or low... -10 points
Picture: at least try man.. come on! -10 points
Attacks/Powers/Bodies: The meat and potatos of every card. don't be too confusing in your words please. also, be original. NOBODY WANTS TO SEE [C] POUND 10!!!-30 points
Weakness/Resistance/Retreat Cost: not as important as the attacks and such, but still important.-10 points
Strategy: tell us how your card fits in with today's game. nobody wants a useless card...-15 points
Concept: tell me a story about your card sorta... the idea behind it and why it works and such. Also tell me why it's not broken/fancy toilet paper.-15 Points

GRAND TOTAL: 100 points.

TRAINER/ENERGY-
Name: -Still 5 Points
Type: yup, there are still trainer types.. XD -5 points
Picture: still needed.. -10 points
Effect: yup, but even more important now!-40 points
Strategy: same as before-20 points
Concept: same as before-20 points

GRAND TOTAL: 100 points

Also, because we have 9 people I'm going to add a little risk to this particular battle. The contestant with the lowest score will be eliminated from the competition to make 2 equal teams of 4. Good luck to you all and see you next week for the grading phase!!

Ah.. so many posts...

Arceus999:
1. Yes, you would have Arceus999 in the name.
2. You are only making a single card for this round...

Charmander Rox:
1. You post your card here in this topic for now.
2.

EnsignMerlin's Tactical Camouflage
TRAINER(PokéTool)
Attach EnsignMerlin's Tactical Camouflage to a Pokémon with EnsignMerlin in its name. If the Pokémon EnsignMerlin's Tactical Camouflage is attached to does not have EnsignMerlin in its name at any time, discard it.

Whenever a Pokémon EnsignMerlin's Tactical Camouflage is attached to attacks, you may treat it as the same type as every Energy Card used to pay for that attack until your next turn. Discard EnsignMerlin's Tactical Camouflage is discarded at the beginning of your next turn.

Strategy:
Works well with other cards of mine involving my name that focus around using many energy types together and heavy trainer usage. With this you can combine it with my eevee cards from a while ago or anything using several types together in a deck. It lets you strike an enemy weakness even if you only have Energy of the type and not a Pokémon.

Concept:
I wanted to make something that fits the constant theme of card I tend to make and like. It's flexible and versatile without being overpowered. Not broken because it's only a type change and it is gone by the next turn. Not underbroken because it can nab you that badly needed KO against a Pokémon you normally couldn't hit. It can also encourage both type and energy diversity in your deck.

Lucario EX:
I'll put that up there right now.. kinda forgot with all the late-night-ness... ^_^;

Ok i am confused... Can we just use internet picts I don't have a scanner and need to find a place to get the blank card

Alright! I guess I'll try this out first. Here goes!

Greenzangoose’s Wigglytuff 90HP {C}
Picture: Here is the picture! Click me! Not the best I've done but should sufice.
Poke-power: Luck Swaying Song
You may use this poke-power once during your turn. Discard three cards from your hand. Either coin flips are counted as heads until the end of your opponent’s turn, or coin flips are counted as tails until the end of your opponent’s turn (You may only use this effect once per card effect)
{C}{C} Perish Song
Flip a coin. If the result is heads, this attack does 60 damage. If the result is tails, this attack does 10 damage to each of your opponents benched pokemon
Weakness: {F} + 20
Resistance: {P} – 20
Retreat Cost: {C}

Strategy: There are too many good cards out there that aren’t use because they need coin flips to work! This card is the answer to that without being broken! By giving you and your opponent either mostly heads or all tails is great and for the price of 3 cards from your hand.

List of cards that would be more playable!

Carnivine DP
Smeargle SW (Instant trace!)
Machamp DP (Choose when you do 90)
Slacking MT (130 for three cards from your hand!)
Pokeball
Super Scoop up
Prof. Cosmos
Anything that requires a heads or tails to work!

Concept: I thought of this idea because of my own horrible luck when flipping coins. This would not only let people change luck into skill, but it also would put a nice twist on things because your opponent also gets the effect! Being colorless just adds to the diversity already given by this card. :thumb:

Meditite Rox LV. X HP70 [P]
LEVEL-UP: Put onto Meditite

Picture: I guess I'll have to describe it unless I manage to make one. There is a Meditite meditating. There are two balls of energy in its hands. One is orange, one is purple. There is a beam of light of that color coming out of each one, going to a third ball of energy on its head above the point. It is in a dark room. There is a white light around the edges of the Meditite.

[Poke-BODY] Rox Aura
Neither player may attach Energy cards from his or her hand to his or her Benched Pokemon.

[P][F][C] Energy Bringing 60
Search your discard pile for an Energy card and attach it to one of your Benched Pokemon.

Put this card onto your Active Meditite. Meditite Rox LV.X can use any attack, Poke-Power, or Poke-Body from its previous Level.

W: [P]+30
R:
RC: [C]

Strategy: It stops people from powering up their Bench from their hand. It works well with cards with Firestarter or Delta Charge or even Energy Switch. It also could work with Energy Trans. Your opponent can't charge up Benched Pokemon, so he/she must send them out to attach Energy, not often letting many cards even attack.

Concept: I wanted to make a card that forced attaching Energy onto the Active. It's not to broken, because it is a LV.X, and there are many ways around it, like using Switch, attaching Energy, Free Retreat (if it has free retreat), or Cessation Crystal. It also stops cards with large retreat costs, or large Energy costs.
