EP pokemon catcher

I would expect 4 catcher per box, at the most. That seems to be the norm for the good trainer/supporters like Juniper, Junk Arm etc.

Lets do some quick math.

There are 30 Uncommon Cards in EP. There are 3 Uncommon cards per Booster Pack. Therefore there is a 3/30 (simplified 1/10) chance of getting a Catcher (or any other uncommon) in a pack. There are 36 Booster Packs in a Box so multiply 1/10 by 36 and you get an average of 3.6 Non-RH Pokemon Catchers per box.

As for Reverse Holos. There are 98 cards in the set, 96 of which have potential to be Reverse Holo. So with each pack (discounting the possibility of Secret Rares) you have a 1/96 chance of getting a RH Pokemon Catcher. 1/96 * 36 = .375

Add the two totals together and the average number of Pokemon Catchers per box is 3.975

Saw people open up like 5 boxes, seems to be only a couple in each so far. Tuesday's post seems like it should be spot on.

Posts like this are semi-stupid. Its like when CoL came out and everyone was wondering how many RH Energies came per box. Its all random, its not like the Secret rares (FA's being about 2-3 per box, and SR being 1 per 3 boxes). Its almost like asking how many (random common) come per box. Its random. So quit making it seem like its a set amount per box for uncommons and commons. Because its not, its purely random.

In relation to that issue, the number of RH energies in a CoL box was only 2-4 which is extremely bad considering they're meant to be common cards, which effectively gave them Level X/EX status in terms of rarity, it was definitely not random.

They really need to up the trainer count in most boxes now....

(In my perfect world) Each booster pack should come with:

1 Rare
1 Reverse-foil
1 Supporter/Item/Stadium

I think it would make it much easier for newer players to build decks if they could be guaranteed a supporter/item/stadium in each pack they buy.

This. Back when I started last september, my friends and I only bought booster packs for a while. T/S/S cards were an extreme rarity and basically forced us to play pokemon and energy heavy decks, with very few t/s/s.

I don't know why they make them so hard to find.

I've seen people get 0 in a box and I've seen someone get up to 6 once. Its random. Theres 36 RH cards per box, and just about any card in the set can be RH. There for it is random.

According to this math, there should be 5 in a box because there are 7 different T/S/S in EP, and 36 packs in a booster box.

(Bianica, Cherin, Hammer thingy, Catcher, Max potion, recycle, great ball)

36/7= ~5
Hmm should I buy a box or should I not..

^He was saying that his ideal pack would come with that. You aren't actually guaranteed a Trainer in every pack. Go with Not So Tuesday's math. However, remember that's the average. It's completely possible you won't get a single Catcher in a box box and you could probably get a playset for 20-25 dollars on ebar/TnT right now if that's the only card you want.

The price on T&T jumped up to 7.99 today (give or take) from 4.99.

Based on the box pulls rates (2-3 per box) it looks like it's going to be an expensive card to find, much like collector or double colorless.
