Espeon EX-Devo Flash vs. Shiftry EX-Dark Eyes

My question is this:

My opponent has Shiftry EX on the bench-I play Espeon EX.

If I use Devo Flash then Shiftry EX should be sent back to the hand and therefore unable to use the Body, but what happens first, Devo Flash or Dark Eyes?

Also, should Either Pokeon be Knocked Out by either Poke-Power/Body, will the effects still stand?

There's a similar question from an FAQ in Japan, regarding Crawdaunt ex's Splashback, vs. Shiftry ex's Dark Eyes. Because Shiftry ex is no longer in play after the effect of Splashback, Dark Eyes doesn't work.

Devo Flash would resolve first.

I don't understand your other question - please use examples?
