European Rating Invites - Countdown to June 7th!

What place is your son in? I updated the JR list, and the invites pass down to 51st place. To me, that's not very interesting It's really difficult to tell though, because of the many players that are not in the rankings, and might suddenly show up over the next few days.

I was starting to relax but had a fright when he dropped to 31... Now that I've seen your list I feel more confident!

All in all, I think we can conclude that whenever prizes for 3rd and 4th place are different (SPTs and definitely Nationals) we want the 3rd place play-off back!

I think it is pretty tough to differentiate between 3 and 4th so dramatically.It would be fine to have a 4th place trophy - but to have the kid who lost one match be empty handed (apart from boosters) while the one who lost the other match gets a trophy and other cools stuff seems pretty hard. I really feel that anyone that gets to the final four deserves recognition.

His name was bold cos I put him in the middle of invite winners and forgot to put the right tag before and after his name. Thanks for the heads up!

I have now got the Tdf file back from Eric.

And I have also deleted the playoff 3&4 Place, so the players don't get or lose ranking points.

There was no playoff in Finland for Third place at least in Seniors and Masters. I'm not sure of Juniors, but Í think they didn't have either.

Thanks for letting us know! With neither Finland nor Denmark having a playoff (at least for the rankings), I'd say the UK shouldn't have one either, no matter how ridiculous with an invitation on the line...

In an hour we'll know the updated rankings with the Denmark results =)

It isn't guaranteed but Sami Sekoum is expected to get a top 3 finish at UK Nats. - If he does that would be one more to pass down.
