Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

European Rating Invites - Countdown to June 7th!

Updates the Seniors as well, not a lot of change.

Only the 2 UK tournaments left now, including 1 that's already been played. Curious to see the UK Nats results! Only hoping that no more than 4 UK people get a ranking above 1771.59 and not get a UK Nats invite. But I don't think that's going to happen:p

Also, it wouldn't surprise me if in Seniors, Nicholas gets a top 3 finish as well. I'm rooting for him at any rate ;)

I have now got the Tdf file back from Eric.
And the mistake is fixed. ( eric wrote: This is a known issue and I'm working on a fix. I've updated the TDF file so you can complete the SR division.)
And I have also deleted the playoff 3&4 Place, so the players don't get or lose ranking points.
so tomorrow you will have an updated ranking.

Thanks Michael!! What about your 2 BRs on 18 may still pending?

Aha! Atm I'm wondering if one of the maths guys can tell us if that's even possible anyway. There are only 5 Masters in the UK above 1700.

Fireborn,

If Nicholas goes 0-1 he may have to drop. I'll have to look to see how bad 0-2 might be for him.

Drop at X-2. during the swiss.

Maybe drop at X-2 at the end of swiss. A first round loss in the top cut could easily leave him 4-3 for the day.

Since we are all going to Florida anyway the strategy is not to blow the invite that is currently safe.

Well, he can afford to lose up til 80 points and still have an invite, so I don't think you need to worry too much =) One of my teammates, Mees B. had the same in Seniors. He wasn't as high up as Nicholas, I think, but he was ranked like 18th before Nationals? He had a first round bye (from winning a state), and then went 4-2, made the top cut, and lost, making his record 4-3, but essentially 3-3 because of the bye. He lost around 50-60 ranking points, but he's fairly safe for the invite.

But I definitely understand your reasoning. I hope it won't come to such difficult calculations!

Oops, yeah, sorry, that's what you get for fast typing, LOL. And you're right, it's highly improbable, but I'm not counting my chickens before they're hatched. Or something :p

I'm wrong anyway, there are four Masters above 1700, because Kylie's in the list. Having said that, I expect Nitish will go up a fair way once the Leicester SPT goes in.

I have good news for you, I noticed I made a mistake in the lower numbers of the Senior list (I put Michael J. in there twice) so you're now in 20th invite spot, assuming the Norwegian player keeps NOIR. Are all the Finland players above you going? I think Kim and Miska are probably going, right? But what about Eino H? Or you could ask Eskil if all the Norway players are going, or Prof Donphan for the Italian player still in the list?

AFAIK...All Norwegians are using their invites...I think I have said that before...Only exception is Stian in Seniors, whom I don't have any means to communicate with, and the Junior players, but mostly are NOIR, so I don't even know who they are

Ok, so in Seniors that means that all the Norwegian players are going, Emanuele C from Italy is going, and I know both Dutch players are going. Glenn's brother won a trip, so Glenn will go as well. Then there's 4 German players in there (Katharina is going, from what I gather), but I have no way of contacting them. Also, the Denmark players, but I'm actually thinking most of them are going as well.

Wow, that's actually a LOT of Seniors using their invites - pretty awesome if you ask me! I expected this in Masters, but not really in Seniors, so that's a nice surprise =)

Michael T from DK told me he is not coming to Worlds because of work problem.

I'll ask him to turn into NOIR (but well, some DK can tell him that anyway).

Yeah, that's what Michael (Steffen's father) told me as well. But his brother won Nationals, didn't he? Maybe he's trying to work something out with work, or anything. If he's sure he's not going, it'd be great if he wanted to turn NOIR.

I actually doubt the Leicester tournament will be uploaded by Friday..........which is annoying me......6-0 against players ranked higher than me, like Sami, FK x2.........should definately put me well over 1700+ considering it is like 1626.33 at the moment. Same applies to Fares, if he doesnt get an invite from Nationals, he will be pretty close seeing he got the same score as me @Leicester. And i know for sure he will be going to Worlds providing, he gets the invite! The worse part about this, is not knowing what kind of score you would need to make on Saturday to get close. I would quite happy go 3-0 and drop knowing that i would in line for an invite. Anyway, I Spoke to Chris at Phoenix Games this afternoon, hes waiting on a responce from D&A games for a players pop id, so i pressume it will be rectified by next week. However, definately not today or tommorow, so what is the worse outcome that could happen if they dont upload it in time?

Btw Anna, hope u get the invite, i doubt even 2 will get about 1770+, all the sharks(NoPoke etc) havent played this much this season,lol........See you in Florida.x
