I mean, c'mon, the anime isn't exactly very well made, there has to be something you've always wanted to change! List want, and why. =X
Thing I've always wanted to change:
G/S Ball - WORST. PLOT. DEVICE. EVAR. Seriously, they're all trying to figure out how to open the friggin' ball. They tried shooting a laser at it. And they never think about how it's a Pokeball. And how do you open a Pokeball folks? That's right. You throw it. Have they ever thrown it? No, no they haven't. Instead, they decide to laser it open, smash it with a hammer, and many other things that I can't quite remember. Then they all go to Johto and whatever, give it to the old guy, and he's taking like, what? Two, three years? He doesn't even give them a progress report. And the ball will forever remain a mystery. Therefore, making it: THE. WORST. PLOT. DEVICE. EVAR. Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm pretty sure they didn't throw it. >>;
Ash's Dad - (Yes, I know it was cleared up in a thread somewhere, but people that don't read this forum and whatnot will never know.) C'MON. IT'S THE MAIN CHARACTER'S PARENT. WHERE IS HE!? You know there's something wrong when the anime goes on for 5 years and you don't know where he is. And Ash never wonders about his dad. What's up with that? They're teaching little kids bad morals. 'Hey kids, if your dad's been gone for all your life, don't worry, he's all right, he's just gone somewhere in the unknown parts of the world!' He hasn't shown any concern to where his dad is. All we know is that he got to Viridian (sp?) City faster then his dad, and that his dad was a Pokemon Trainer too. That's it. I want to know where he is!
Stuff never evolves - This is pretty clear isn't it? He wants to be the best Pokemon Trainer in the world, yet he never evolves any of his Pokemon. In the manga, they're all like, 'Even if a Pokemon evolves, it's still the same.' Except it was more poetic and stuff. He has how many evolved Pokemon on him? Right now, none. NONE. I understand why Pikachu didn't want to evolve on that Lt. Surge episode, but I doubt that Pikachu hasn't learned all the moves a Pikachu can learn. So evolve already! C'MON, WE'RE WAITING.
What teh heck? Train already! - This kinda goes with the evolve thing. If you don't train, you can't evolve. The keyword in Pokemon Trainer, is 'train'. See that? Not magically earning levels by sitting there eating lunch in a forest. Has he ever trained, once? In one of the episodes, he tried to train with Tracy, but that didn't work out now did it?
That's all I can think up of now. >>;
Edit: Ah, I'm watching the one where Ash is training with Cydaquil (sp?) right now. =x So they do train. Sometimes. XD
