Trish actually extended the time by 2 minutes in the end, so actually it was about 5 minutes.
In the end Trish did the right thing, she enforced the rules(the job of a PTO). Though let's take this medical emergency into light, why was there never a phone call, a text, anything? I'm not being heartless, or cold or whatever this guy above me thinks, my friend Julie came down here for states from OHIO. If she would have been late, she wouldn't have played, end of story. Yea, I would have been upset, and so would she, but considering the bold warning, we would have understood and agreed. Instead of creating the second shot heard round the world, just accept it and move on. In the end, all of this leads nowhere.
So let me get this straight, you are at the event in plenty of time to register, but your decklist is not there yet, so you wait past the registration cutoff time instead of making a decklist and registering. I could say something here, but it is so obvious I don't really need to.
This thread is bordering on personal attacks, and I have personally heard at least 2 versions of the story so I doubt most of you are forming your opinions with complete and accurate facts. Watch yourselves. If you have a problem with the way a tournament is run, then take it up with PUI. I won't lock this now, but I doubt you can post much more in this thread that won't get it locked. This is your only warning, don't post personal attacks or opinions when you only know one side of the story.

lets make this easy. why they didn't call, i don't know for sure, what im hearing is they got 15 minutes outn and realized somebodys insulin was still in the fridge at the house. They go back to retrieve it and still believe they have enough time to make it back. They don't which is something we all agree on. Time wise I dont know how long they were actually late, dont care. The one thing I do know is they could have been added round 1 hadn't even started

im not trying to attack anybody all i was doing was posting my states report =( i didnt mean any harm by my posts it stinx for the ppl that took the time from NM and so cal and further out in az to waist money and time i on the other hand take full responsibility on wut i did wrong and i still had things to do and things to get done all im saying is that i dont quite understand y the ruling was put in place was it to hurt us or wut idk. but all well its over. plz LOCK

Just to be clear on this, the first paragraph of my post was a comment on your original post, but the second part was a warning to those who posted aftrer you. I was not saying that your origional post crossed the line. You are entitled to tell your story. As to locking this, I don't know that it is necessary since there is now a new thread focused on the fact that people were not allowed to register late. I imagine that all those wanting to comment will do it there.
