EX: Delta Species Info :)

I don't think they do... I mistook the half deck release date for a pre release date so I was thinking we'd find out on the 7th what all was in the set. Doesn't look like that will be the case now. I need to get a better method for translating Japanese.

Some thoughts:

1. The Dragonite scan, in my opinion, is not a Dragonite (d). Pokemon-(d) are Latias, Mewtwo, etc. So, in my opinion, this set may have Pokemon-(d), Delta Species Pokemon, Pokemon-ex, and Holon's Pokemon.

2. TRUK said Japan gets the set Oct. 28. Our pre-releases start the 22nd. Now what does that mean? ;)

But even these ones (Dratini, Bagon etc) have the symbol on the card, just not part of the name.

Yes, I know. What I am saying is that those Pokemon (Drat, Bagon, Drag) are different than the Pokemon-δ (Mew2, Ray, Latias). As in, those Pokemon are the regular Pokemon of the set, and the Pokemon-δ are the Pokemon-ex of the set (if that makes any sense...)

Of course, I could be wrong, but this is all just my opinion.

-_- It's a simile.

The (Delta Species) Pokemon are the regular Pokemon of the set, and the Pokemon-δ are the Pokemon-ex of the set.

The Pokémon-ex are the Pokémon-ex of the set. Why does there need to be another classification? Especially since they have no unique rule/gimmick or anything, they're just more dual Metals.

Did we not have Pokemon-* and Pokemon-ex in the same set? Can we not have Pokemon-0 and Pokemon-EX in the same set?

We don't know that they do not have a new unique ruling. Why do the (Delta Species) Pokemon have the Delta Symbol and evolutionary stage thing on their basic cards? Surely there must be something new that has to do with that. If they do have a new ruling, then maybe Pokemon-δ will too, if they are in fact Pokemon-δ.

The new rule would need to be written on the cards, otherwise it doesn't exist plain and simple. The "Delta Species" text may or may not interact with some other cards and the only other explanation would be that the "Pokémon-δ" interact in some other way, since there's nothing else written on the Rayquaza, Latias or Mewtwo otherwise you'd know about it.

But what would be the point of having 2 different variations of dual Metals, without a Star-like or EX-like ruling on either? It may just be the way Vincent translated them, he may translate the Dragonite as "Dragonite-δ".

The Rayquaza etc and Dragonite etc just seem similar in every other way, why make them different?

For all we know, we could get no ex's in this set and get those vaporeon/jolteon/flareon ex in the next set.
