Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

EX Dragon Frontiers Card and Pack Scans and Info

the t tar is not that broken its cool yes but you use the first attack then you need to us the last attack its a two turn process. you may get it off twice... i will be back later i need to go back to work...

I love the Oriental theme they've used with the logo. The pack/theme deck art is also pretty cool.

The Rayquaza ex d is going to be absolutely broken in draft. Mark my words. The Snorlax d and the Ninetales d look like they too could shine in draft.

Feraligatr d's going to be in a theme deck? Sweeeet! My friends and I have beeen raving about him for awhile now. He'd be nasty comboed with Gyarados d.

Forget UF - this looks like it could be the best set of the Nintendo era.

The theme deck cards will prolly be Feraligatr d and Typhlosion d. Power Wave <- Electricity + Wave = Water = Feraligatr..

Shadow Blaze = Psychic Typhlosion w/ Shady Move and Typhlosion is fire so ya.
logic ftw. lol.

@Charizardian: Lunasol only stops Fire and Colorless Pokemon Powers
excluding ex's.

@ Professor Elm: That deck has more Pokemon Lines than the Great
LBS. How do you expect 4 to work?

@ Lolganium:11 x 20= 220 cards in the Japanese Box's.
9 x 36= 324 cards in the English Box's.

How are we getting the Bad Part?

Also for this shockwave thing. I don't see it to be game breaking. It
takes to hits to KO it. it's only mediocre and I only see it getting some
play. It might win a Few Cities but I think there will be a more popular
deck.

Ex's in Japanese boxes are about 1/3 packs. Here, it's about 1/6.

dude, I always thought Dragonite EX was the cheapest thing I ever saw, and originally i wanted Tyranitar EX for my electric collection.
but CHEESUS CRUST!

Tyranitar EX IS CHEAP!!!! :: faints ::

ELECTRICITY WILL HAVE IT'S GLORY AGAIN!!!

i wonder whats the real use of ninetail's power.... it doesnt even have enough HP for the power to work....

Change into the Safeguard version against EXs is all I can think of

The only thing I can think of Ninetales δ is Typhlosion moving damage to it and then it removes it....but that's like 1, maybe 2 if you have an energy, damage counters which stink......

The T-tar is good if u fight the right deck with it..... for example like a stall deck if u can pull off T2 T-tar then u can counter there hitter while they still charge.... If someone can figure out a way to make it fast it might do some damage........

Lets kick this pig!!

pfft......all I can think right now is this.....

4 Larvitar D
2 Pupitar D
2 T-tar Ex
2 T-tar D
2 Dratini D
1 Dragonair D
2 Dragonite D
3 Mew Ex LM

@Everyone on the prevoius page talking about T3 setup: I guess what you do say hold water, but just because we have lost Pidgeot any think that ST.2 is unplayable now. I will back up what you say in the fact that yes, you will need good starts and some luck for the perfect T2-3 setup, but in terms of search/draw engines we are not short of a sub-Pidgeot. Take a look at Milotic d...

(Spoiler curtesy of Pokebeach):

Milotic d - Fire - HP90
Stage 1 - Evolves from Feebas

Poke-Power: Share
Once during your turn, you may look at your opponent's hand. If your opponent has any
Supporter cards in his or her hand, choose 1 of them, and use the effect of that card.
Afterwards, return the card to your opponent's hand. This Power can't be used if
Milotic is affected by a Special Condition. You can't use more than 1 Share
Poke-Power during your turn.

[R][R][C] Flare: 60 damage.
Weakness: Lightning
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Trust me, many decks will play that, not to mention that every ST.2 deck will almost HAVE to play it. Also, Flygon d has a much larger pol of use now, particularly with Flyogn EX d. Yes, there is no Suprise! Time Machine anymore but I reckon that a deck like that will come out at a point.
To sum this whole thing up, the Cities will be very interesting. Many say that this set has too mnay broken cards in it. Yet those people fail to see that these cards are going to be (in the end) very hard to effectively play.

Considering the fact that Japan get steven's / copycat / prof oak r. in their decks does that mean when DF comes out we can all start using them again? or do they actually have to come in the english set/decks?
