Just a quick update, The "Modified" tournaments in the Side Events will be the new Nintendo format "EON". This was decided by the Master Professors and Professors from Oklahoma after polling their players at their league.

Lets have a huge turnout and show these Texas people that we can run up the score in Pokemon just like we did in the "OU/Texas" game in Dallas!!!

 All "Side Events" will be single elimination. These are 8-player tournaments. When we have 8-players, the tournament will begin. There will be three 30-minute rounds to determine a first and second place winner. The "Constructed Deck (60-Cards) Modified & Unlimited" tournaments entry fee is $5.00-cash/tournament that you entry. The "Game Boy Advance-Ruby & Sapphire" 8-player tournaments are free. (See Rules as previously stated.) I hope that this helps clarify the "Side Events" questions. ;)

:) Hope to see you all on November 22nd. :)

Hey, Oklahoma City and all the Oklahoma Pokemon Nation, the <www.pokemon-tcg.com> has posted all of the "EX-Dragon Pre-release Tournaments". They have posted some information about these also. Take a look. Let's start getting excited about "EX-Dragon". This is to be the best set by far that has been released.

Let's have a good turn out and come to have some fun. Don't miss the "Side Events" that start at 8:30am. The "GBA", Modified, and Unlimited tournaments. And remember that the "EX-Dragon" starts at 10:30am. Hope to see you there!!!

:) Just an update. The "EX-Dragon" will be a sanctioned tournament. The registration will be from 8:00am-10:00am. I will issue a new Nintendo/PUI number to all of the players. This could take some time, so come early.

Remember, the "Side Events" start at 8:30 am. Bring you "GBA and Ruby & Sapphire Game" with you to play in this tournament that is free. The "Modified and Unlimited" Constructed Deck Tournaments cost $5.00-cash/player.

Just three weeks away, I hope to see you there!!! :D :D

Take care.

 With the last email from "PUI", concerning the sanctioning of "EX-Dragon" and "Side Events", I don't think that there will be any of these events sanctioned. They are still having a problem with the software and issuing "PUI" numbers for sanction play. There are some "TO's" that have been given "PUI" numbers. But, they are saying that they can't issue that many "PUI" numbers for "PTO's". We are to play around with the software and give them feedback on what they need to improve it. There still could be a possiblity we can sanction these tournaments, but it looks doubtful.

I will keep you updated if anything changes.

:D Alright, two more weeks until "EX-Dragon" invades Oklahoma City. We learned this week that there will be only 100-Promo Cards available for each "EX-Dragon" Pre-release Tournament. You need to be there early so that you can get one of these very limited Promo Cards. We will open the doors at 8:00am and start registration and end registration at 10:00am. The "Side Events" will start at 8:30am and run until we start the "EX-Dragon" tournament. (See about the "Side Events" in the previous posts.)

I will leave for "Pokemon Rocks America" at the Space Center Houston (NASA) this afternoon and will be not be back until Sunday. So, I will be away from this website until then. If you have any questions, please reply here or email me and I will get back to you on Sunday.

I hope to see you on November 22nd in Oklahoma City at the "EX-Dragon" Pre-release Tournament. For now, take care. :)

 Oklahoma here we come!!!! The "EX-Dragon" swept through Houston and left the city in thunderstorms like I have never seen!!! The "EX-Dragon" will enter Oklahoma City on Saturday, November 22nd. Are you ready??? It will take you and refuse to let you go!!! Just four more days, get prepared!!! What a great set of cards!!! Anyone that made it to another Pre-release last weekend will tell you if you like the "DRAGONS" don't miss this Premier Event!!!!

:nonono: We would like to see Pokemon players from all over The State of Oklahoma. From Oklahoma City, Moore, Norman, Tulsa, Lawton, Duncan, Durant, Shawnee, Muskogee, Ada, and McAlester, we want all of Oklahoma there. We need more Pokemon Leagues in Oklahoma!!! I will have information on how and who to contact about starting a Pokemon League at a store near you in these other cities that don't have leagues.

:thumb: Alright guys and gals, the "EX-Dragon Pre-release Tournament" and the first two "Consructed-Modified & Unlimited" side events will be SANCTIONED. There will be a "Boost Draft" with EX-Dragon product after the "EX-Dragon" tournament ends. This tournament will be SANCTIONED!!! If you like to play Pokemon and I know for a fact that Oklahoma does, you can get your fix on Saturday!!!! The cost for the "Boost Draft" tournament will be $15.

Be there early for the FREE "GBA" Ruby & Sapphire Tournaments. These were a great hit in Houston.

Again, we will have 100-Promo Cards to give away to the first 100-players that sign up. I am looking forward to seeing my Oklahoma friends and hearing how they invaded Texas again and took home the kitty. Great job!!! Not only does Oklahoma kick %^&* in football (Boomer Sooners), they also kick some #@^ in Pokemon too.

I will be leaving for Oklahoma City on Friday afternoon. If you need to contact me, call the hotel and ask for me. Any questions on anything that I may have left out, please reply or email me before Friday afternoon.

Until then, take care.

:p Patriarch, the "Mapquest" tells me about 206-miles from "Texas Game Co.". Bring it on my friend, but bring reinforcements with you.

:nonono: So, you would like a little payback in my Oklahoma friends homeland??? They came into Texas and made way with the Pokemon kitty. Just as they came to "The Cotton Bowl" and had "Filet de Horns"!!! But, with the year that "Boomer Sooners" put a 71-0 ^%# kicking on Texas A&M down in Aggieland, I think would walk quitely and avoid any trash talk with OU.

:D In all seriousness, if there is such a word, come up to OKC we would love to have you. And bring some PLAYERS with you. Let's talk the talk and walk the walk!!! :thumb:

Good hearing from you, Patriarch. Until then, take care my friend.

Richard! Hey! Its me! Garland! From the email!!!

If richard aproves I will be using my e-reader to transfer eon tickets to people who bring their GBA ru/sa games. The eon ticket alows you to go to a Southern Island and catch Latias in Ruby, or Latios in Saphire. Its really cool and best of all its free! Just look for me! Im 11 and my name is Garland! Anyone who plans to participate in the eon ticket transfer should first activate Mystery Events on their Game. Go to pokemon-games.com and go to the battle e-cards section then click on "How to activate Mystery Events"! You must have to beaten the eleit four and the champion before the eon ticket events will work on your game. Oh and its said that if you can capture the latios or latias they will be holding a super rare item... im not telling the item... you will have to see for yourself...

Get there early! I will be doing my eon ticket transfer event from 8:00 Am till the time of the first tournament!

EDIT: Richard has approved! This will happen!!!

Dangit, my friend. It seems that the band has a football game this Saturday -_-"". Oh well, guess I can come down next prerelease...Also, I don't need reinforcements, sir! I am the force that will blow even such a mighty football team as the sooners away! Mwahaha...

Oh yah, one last thing: what times are there for the Lonestar Comics Pokemon and Yu Yu Hakusho? I've heard that Monte runs YYH, and you guys go down there, so I figure it'd be fun to grace Dallas with my not-so awesomeness :D

:) Garland, you have my blessings. Everyone, my new friend, Garland will be loading the "Eon Ticket" for GBA-Ruby & Sapphire starting at 8:00am on Saturday. If your GBA is at the correct level, you can get these great Pokemon added to your GBA/R&S for FREE of charge. I am sure that Garland will be a challenge for all of you GBA players in that tournament. Good luck!!!! :thumb:

 Thank you, Garland for this service to the Oklahoma GBA players!!!!

Looking forward to meeting you on Saturday at the "EX-Dragon" Event.

Just had to have it on a Sat, huh??? Oh well wished I could come up there, but alas I have work.... Have fun up there guys.....

Well, us Okies did go to Texas and..... well you probably know the rest.

Now a word of warning. I will NOT be playing in this event so that means everyone else has a chance to win. :) I will be judging though.

For anyone that has played in another pre-release, such as the 6 of us that went to Plano, they should have a slight advantage in knowing what's what. I had 3 of 1 card & only chose 1 of them & regretted later that I didn't put in more. That card is just AWESOME in this format and won't be too bad in modified either. One word of "wisdom" that I would impart is, make sure you have enough basics!

The event after the main event, is that a true booster draft, (1 card at a time), or another sealed pack event? It doesn't matter to me which it is, just want to know.
