Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

EX: Emerald prerelease in Whitewater, WI May 7th

Skipping prom for a prerelease would be way worse than skipping for a regional though. At least with regionals there's big prizes on the line, so it's somewhat understandable. If anyone skipped prom for a prerelease or even a city championships or states even, well, then they may need to straighten out their priorities, lol.

I didn't go to prom cuz I didn't have the money to spend on renting a tux and all that and a date and what not. From what I heard, I didn't miss much. I guess a lot of people thought it stunk. lol

prom was alright. dunno if it was better than playing pokemon. guess it depends on the girl you're going with.

Trust me. I won't be one to miss my prom for Pokemon. (Unless it was something like Worlds or Nationals, and those are in summer, so ha ha.)

he said no jeff. jimmy can't come, not sure whats up with chuck and ness, not sure about lucas's, hoping st pika brings a bunch of people

Quick tournament breakdown.....

Everyone got 6 packs for deck building, an extra pack once their deck was built and deck reg was turned in, and then 4 at the end for a total of 11 packs guaranteed.

Plus.....
In prerelease:
1st: David H--18 extra packs
2nd: Matt E (Rulemaster)-9 extra packs
3rd: Jason E (ST_Pika)-5 extra packs
4th: Bigginzzz-4 extra packs

In $5 modified side event:
1st: Cory Goff--10 packs
2nd: Bigginzzz-6 packs
3rd: Ryan A (Bullados) and Matt E (Rulemaster)--4 packs

We started the prerelease around noon and had both completed a bit after 5. Things ran very smoothly and quickly. I think everyone had a good time and got some good trades in as well for sets and regionals.

See you all at Regionals next weekend!

Good pics... I didn't know I was so photogenic. Good times at the tournament. Going 4-1 and 3rd is always good, and of course, having the "Trunk" available after a long day is always good. Great tournament, I hope to get to attend a few more there before moving to Tulsa, OK and riding those tornadoes.
