I meant, what are lanyards? Its 9:20 in the morning, and too much information. XD

Lanyards are then things that go around yoru neck. At Nationals there were Red for 10 and under and Green for 11-14 and Blue for 15+ and then Yellow for League Play. You can use it as a name bage. That's what we did (we=Shukuen Shinobi, Ron13) Hopes that help out.

WPM-They have internet, you can get it wireless if you have your own card, and they can give you a bridge device if you don't. The internet is $2.95 for one hour or $9.95 for 24 hours.

Hmm, lanyards...could be. And remember, I never said it was a secret, I said it was an "interesting twist" =P

Anyways, my internet expires in about 1 hour, so I am going to go get one last update.
I may or may not get internet access again on thursday.

AWESOME UPDATE!

Time: 9:00 AM California Time, Wednesday

Lots of new features now!

New Features: The Big Spinny Thing on the Ceiling from Nats is there, there is framework for what I think might ACTUALLY be the art gallery, dunno what the other stuff is then, some posters are getting ready to be set up, some of the boxes are now open, there are desks that I believe to be registration desks, I believe the beanbags have been moved to the beanbag room, but I wasn't allowed to go upstairs, and lastly, the flags for every country participating are being set up.

Also, there was a copy of the floor plan laying out on a box!
From what I saw, the room is going to be divided into the 3 age division, each one color coded differently using Red 10-, Green 11-14, and Blue 15+. I didn't get a chance to see where side events like prereleases would be held or anything like that, but I assume they'll be held at one of the sections once worlds isn't using those sections. Then again, I don't think I saw the whole map.

Next Update: Tonight or Tomorrow if possible

Remember that on Sunday the amount of space required for Worlds will shrink dramatically.
There are multiple floor plans.
Different areas and different days.

Not trying to get off topic but how nice are the rooms are they big and what do they have in them and what do you think of the Hotel itself.

it really depends on your type of room, i assume nintendo booked double queen rooms. so it should bee bed, fridge, iron board, compressor, a/c t.v the normal ammenities

Wait, if you have a wireless card, you have to pay, or is it if you rent one, that is what it costs? If I have my own card, is it free?

WPM I'm assuming you have to pay still...Cus I know that some places make you use a password to use there Wireless internet. Even if you have a card. It's a secirty thing. I believe. But thoses aren't bad prices. Thanks for the Update again BT. Hope to talk to you later! And hope that helps you out WPM

I'd agree with UN about payment, hotels tend to charge you for everything possible, regardless of whether or not you need anything for it.

Okay a portion of Team HEAT has arrived!!! (another bunch arriving on Thursday and the rest are coming in on Friday!!)
AND yes there is a $9.95 charge per 24 hours for internet access (there is another option ...an hourly charge of $2.95 should u choose not to take the full 24 hours)
Havent had a chance to check things out much yet ...will check back on the boards later see if there are any more updates.

Already ran into Mudkip and POOKA .....

I was there today. I saw a projection screen, so I assume that's what they're doing.

I also saw a poster, and I know where worlds '06 will be and when. :D

But i'm not saying. You can wait 'til it's announced (Which will be soon anyway.)
