Mew ex is the only truly broken ex out there right now, and it doesn't even fit into everything, nor is it unbeatable. 90HP and psychic (ie SELF) weakness put a pretty solid wall in front of it.

It's true that Mew ex is absolutely insane in many decks and in many matchups, but it's so breakable that it's fine the way it is.

Don't be so melodramatic.

Pokemon ex are not all game winners, and most take skill to use.
 
I heard that the DP cards are going to have little descriptions of the pokemon like they did back in the days. Which is kind of dumb... Pokemon is running out of ideas.

Is anything really original at this point? Seriously. This is another "don't be so melodramatic" moment. =/

If you want to get literal about it, Magic: The Gathering had flavor text on cards long before pokemon even existed as a card game, which means the flavor text was NEVER a new idea.
 
Japanese sets NEVER had ex in the name.

Personally, I think they will keep doing exes. They never got rid of dark Pokemon(returned in TRR), they never got rid of shining Pokemon(aka Pokemon *), theyre not going to get rid of exes.
 
If they discontinue ex's, I wonder what kind of extra strong type of cards will they have to replace ex's...:rolleyes:

More melodrama. Obviously in a C.Crystal vs. C.Crystal deck, neither deck will even be affected by the opponent's C.Crystal, making this statement entirely pointless.
 
I am not sure if they will include EX in the name. There will still be EXs but not in the title of the set(s).

Tagrineth: By then everyone will have 2-3 Windstorms so it will go first to Cessastion then first to Windstorm. Or in another case, first to play a Flygon EX d and Holon Circle (that loops back around to the first with Cessation Crystal/Winstorm)...

You DO realise people were making these exact same doomsday statements when Battle Frontier was released, right?

you are SOOO good, how did people NOT realize Ray* makes every single ex card unplayable wow, how could a deck like MEwTric win Worlds? I feel so cheated.

Nothing beats Base Set Gastly.
It can even knock out those fake pokemon cards that have 5000 hp and do 200 dmg in one hit.
What now?

getting back on topic, I do belive there wouldnt be EX's in it, because, they usually DO have EX in there name
