Can you fail Computer Search? I would assume not, because it's a known fact that your deck has cards in it, unlike Ultra Ball where the game doesn't know if there are Pokemon in your deck or not.
Similarly, if you have zero cards in deck, can you play a search card? This would be relevant for decks with Dark Patch where they want to discard cards with Ultra Ball.
