^A good thing to do if you suspect the legitemacy is buy one, and open in right there (Preferably in front of an employee). That way, if it's fake you can tell them immediately (If they care) and you can ask for your money back. It won't always get you your money back, but it's better than being out that much money.

Oh, ok, so it's THOSE blisters. That makes more sense, I guess. It's still pretty sad, but people can avoid those. You hardly ever get anything good out of those. LOL One I opened had 3 Bill in it.

I got my 3rd mesprit in one and I checked the mesprit against my other 2 and its legit, i know the other 2 are cause I got them back when I worked at k-mart and if they had been fake i woulda jumped the stock guy right in the store and beat him tell he was blue and black

Thats a good idea. When a packager makes a mistake and lets a fake card slip into the singles they buy from 3rd parties, be sure to open it in the retail store and beat up the cashier. They may even has a Pokemon league in the prison you'll be at.

The best approach is to write a letter to the actual company describing the problem, explaining how they can recognize fake cards, and cc the retail store and TPCi. The retail store and TPCi need to know as their reputations are being compromised here, but it is the packager with the problem. As the problem appears to be intermittent, it does not appear intentional and they just have unreliable sourcing of the singles.

ICheap cards are usually cheap for a reason.
The thing is, those repackaged cards aren't usually all that cheap. At least at my local Target, they're generally barely less expensive than Pokemon-packaged merchandise, if at all.

Oh, you're no fun at all.

Maybe it is just me, but it seems when I by packs at Target, I rarely ever find a good card in the packs i purchased. I can by six HGSS packs at Walmart for $0.66 cheaper and I usually will find two primes or a couple legend halves in the Walmart packs. So truthfully I try not to by packs at Target because it seems their booster packs are second to Walmart's and Walmart is cheaper. I just wish Walmart had as big of a selection as Target. However there was one time I bought 4 packs from Walmart and three of those packs had been obviously opened then taped. When I got home, I opened them and realized there was only 8 cards in those packs and that the stars were missing. So I took them back and exchanged them for new packs. Before I left, I searched what they had on the shelf and found 6 more packs that looked taped so I took them to return counter. It's just frustrating to run into this crap.

I haven't experienced this type of thing. But, yes. Walmart does have a smaller selection, but I also seem to get better pulls (though I rarely shop at Target).
