Thanks for getting all this information up, will be in flying from NY!

More info to come, but wanted to get the basics out for those making these plans. Glad you're coming!

ALL: Please note - OP updated to indicate that any Master who plays to the last round of TCG championship will get an Eon Ticket good for next day side event or League Championship.

Website has updated FAQ on: hotel, lodging, TCG requirements to play.

This is going to be a blast! Liking all the side event stuff!

Argh! Wish it wasn't the weekend of Pokemon XY release. If I come from Fresno, I won't even have the game (and I'm buying both!) for the side event because of that early registration. Oh well...

Man...almost don't want to go, just to be part of the Day 1 excitement of getting Pokemon XY. I like waiting outside stores for the big Nintendo games :p

lol I only really want that microfiber cloth anyway...

I thought the games were released on the 11th? If they are that gives you time to get to the event Saturday morning.

The XY race will be in the afternoon so come by then. Also, ill have a way to reserve cartridges with me for the side event. Then you can win the OTHER cartridge.

What do you mean reserve cartridges?

XY Race to the first Badge (min 8 players)

  • You must have an X or Y cartridge to enter.
  • Reset your game in front of the Judge when start is called.
  • First player to the 1st Gym Badge gets choice of X or Y cartridge.
  • Second player gets Unique Skins $15 gift card for your personalized DS/DS Lite/DSi/DSi XL;3DS/3DS XL

  • $10 entry (if you already have an X or Y cartridge)
  • $50 entry (if you buy an advance ticket online – includes your choice of X or Y cartridge to be picked up at the event).

The part I put in red is what I think he meant by reserve. : )

This looks awesome, I really want to come. Hm, I need to find out if any of my friends are around the airport, I'd definitely tell my parents I'm going for camp and just come here. Looks like a blast!

So I have a question is there going to be a Hotel/motel in California for out of town people that are giving special rates for the players ? I know during the Salem State championships there was a deal for out of town players and was just trying to find out if there was going to be something like that there.

Another question! I'll be playing in the TCG main event but also really want to get X or Y opening day. I see there is a side event where we can purchase a cartridge, but can we reserve one independent of that side event? Otherwise I'll have a long walk to GameStop Saturday night ; ).

Out of curiosity, is the Eon Ticket simply one of the vouchers other regionals are using, or is it an actual Eon Ticket E-Reader card from the RSE era?

What do you mean reserve cartridges?

I'm trying to find a vendor in town who can reserve your cartridge over the phone or online. Also, we're working to get cartridges for players who want to buy an advance ticket for "Race to the first Badge" side events that will include a cartridge of their choice.

I'm working on it. I'll update the info on my website and post here are soon as I know.

Well, its not a Ruby Sapphire Eon Ticket its a Pleasanton Regional Eon Ticket - not 'simply a voucher' but it works like one. :)

Hey Kim -- any more information on the prereg? I just noticed that it's a couple days after the date listed on the page (9/21) when I went to register.
