2 DRX Packs
1 EP Pack
1 BW Pack

Are they worth it?

Personally I would say no, however I'd like to hear opinions, might change my mind into getting 1 of each

The promos are nice, but already we can see the bombing values of their counterparts.
Mewtwos went from $40 to $20
Darkrais went from $50 to $20-30
Rayquazas never broke $30...

I'm not sure whether or not purchasing them is viable.

I forsee the EXs from DRX being the cheapest out of all, with the reports of upto 7 EXs a box.
So for me, I don't think it is worth it.

As well as you don't have much chances of getting a EX. I mean you get 2 DRX Packs. And With-in those you want to pull a EX. But that would be EXTREME Luck in my opinion.

I guess it depends on why you're getting them. If you need those cards for your deck, perhaps. For resale? Maybe not.

For resale, I mean the promos will probably be around $8 each when all is set and done, so the profit would come from the packs

$24/40-50
So I mean more than half of the tin is the promos themselves, so the packs need to be good...

Yeah, I agree. Could always order some early from overseas then sell them for an inflated price until they're released in a month ;)

Doesn't the fact that these reprints were announced months ago play a role in the prices going down, and especially in Rayquaza's case? Why go nuts throwing money out for a card that we already know is getting a widely available reprint in less than a month?

Do you need the EX for a deck? Do you want the promo art version for collecting?

If the answer to either of those questions is 'yes', then the tins give you a great deal.

If you are trying to flip them for profit, then no, they probably aren't going to give you a decent return unless you pull a Mew-EX in one of the packs or something.

For me it will worth to the people who can't afford to buy those 3 ex just to use them in deck

Well if the tin promos end up being $8 each then it's almost a guaranteed profit since some shops (near me anyway) are going to be selling the tins for $11 each.

Wow you always find great deals!
The best I can find online is $13-14 per tin.

I think they are completely worth it, the EX's are not going to be worth much but they become great trade bait, also you have the possibility to pull another EX, it might be slim but you could. Also if you don't open the packs they also become trade bait and/or good to sell to friends, and if you say the tins are $13-$14 then you can sell the packs at $3 a piece and the EX is $8 that is $20... if you decide to open the packs you also have the chance to pull a catcher in Emerging Powers pack, which is basically what you paid for the tin to begin with. I am gonna buy them without second thought...

I think they are worth it if you want the promo, either for collecting or playing. I needed Rayquaza and Mewtwo EX for my deck, so I bought two tins today (they are out in Sweden).

Ended up pulling Giratina EX and Ho-OH EX Fullart as really nice bonuses, was pretty chocked since there was only 4 DRE packs. So far I pulled 3 EXes out of 7 DRE packs, and I am usually VERY unlucky with packs o_O

There are also reports on people getting only 1 or 2 EXs :/

Don't forget you also have a chance of pulling the good Garchomp/Hydreigon from the DRX packs as well. You have a better chance of pulling one of those than an EX since they're regular holos.

But since Next Destinies, I've have the worst luck ever so I'm probably just gonna pick up the Darkrai one.

I pulled 1/1 Chomp/Hydreigon. I pulled 3 exs. What has a better chance of being pulled again?

I'm actually happy for the EP pack since I don't have all my Catchers yet. They are defintely worth it if you don't already have the EXs. I'm buying 3 of each of the Darkrai and Mewtwo tins.
