Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Faster than the Speed of Gyarados

I tried that once w/ Young Jorge and I didn't think it was that good the no starter part that is. And doesn't Jirachi have to die to do anything? (Pliz correct me if I'm worng but why would you want to start Jirachi because if you are trying to get T1 dos most of the time and your Jirachi prbably wont get T1ed especially because you have to go 1st to get T1 dos just sayin I'm probably thinking of the wrong Jirachi LOL but yeh correct me if I'm wrong

Jirachi lets one reuse a supporter that they used that turn with a free attack.

Last times I´ve set up (admittedly from game #5 solitaire, but it gives a good picture):

Turn X - too slow
Turn 1
Turn 2
Turn 2
Turn 1
Turn 1
Turn 2
Turn 3
Turn X-too slow
Turn 1
Turn 3
Turn 2

(Setting up = hitting at least 60 without modifiers, as Austino put it)

...so, not all that bad. In 12 starts two starts where I could do nothing at all (first start was not only a bit worse than usual but I was powerlocked) two starts would have ended in an almost guaranteed loss.

AND this does not take into account the times I had the SP Dark for the Sableye, so an early prize or donk may have been possible.

To sum it up, Gyarados is fast. Lightning fast - the mirror often depends on who gets the slightly better turn 1.

Oh! Ive been counting getting the whole 90+! Yeah, I can get 60+ on T1-T2 nearly always ok I thought my build was just slow. :)

^Notably, the majority of the T1:s are 60:s, but in fact ALL of the T2:s I listed were hitting for at least 90 (on one occasion with a Belt and PlusPower though :p).
Your deck speed seems fine if you can hit 90+ on T3 though, because most builds focus on that - and keep in mind that at least all my starts were as if I went second excluding Sableye starts and possibility for Sableye to be donked.

However, starting with a lone Magikarp or Unown Q usually comes with such a bad start you may have lost anyway. :p
