Father/Son States Winners in Same Year Ever Been Done Before This Year?

Congrats! My son and I won a cities a couple of years ago! It was a fantastic feeling! His match completed first, so it really put me on my toes to win my division. There was a point where I thought it wasn't going to happen, then I top decked the right card and my fortunes changed!

It had to feel great to do this at a states!

My son and I did it @ a battle road in houston during his last year in seniors. We also did it at a STSQ in 2001, ( 150 + players at that event) so we did it at that size ( todays states) of an event. We ( he) did get a trip to New York for our troubles, but no trophies. I got 18 packs...........:lol:

Professor Baker and Rocketman. Thanks to both of you. It is fun reflecting on these types of things from the past and hearing all the stories. I mean this is what it really is all about. Hopefully this game will last long enough so that todays kids might have the chance to play right along with their kids in the future.
