Favorite Double-Battle Strategy?

Hey everyone, I was just going through the battle tower and was thinking up some cool combos to use with 2 pokemon on the field. What are some of the ones you have come across/thought of?

My favorite so far: utilizing the eeveelutions and their absorb abilities to recover health mid-battle

I like garchomp using garchomp & zapdos together. Garchomp uses earthquake and zapdos uses discharge. both attacks don't damage their teamate!

Kyogre and electivire.
Vire uses follow me and the foes elctric move meant for kyogre now activates motor drive.

Trick room with power trick shuckle. So much fun to get shuckle with 200+ attack with trick room out. Shuckle is tied with muchlax for slowest pokemon in the game, so that helps since you almost always attack first.

but dies to any quick attack then

On XD: Gale of darkness, I used to have Lugia and Lunatone both with Earthquake. They don't damage each other so you can constant earthquake every turn ;)

More recently, I like the water absorb ability (Vaporeon, Politoed and stuff like that have it), so you can surf to damage and heal at the same time. Then to counter the electric weakness have Swampert, and to cover grass Lugia use's Aero Blast usually. Seems to work a lot for me (Though I'm not a competitive VG player atm, would like to tho lol)

Toxic Heal + Leftovers for moar healing/walling/substitute/annoyance/suicidal opponents?
Toxic Heal + an item that ups the attack power of Breloom?

Just tossing some fun ideas....:thumb:
Also added 1 more combo from memory to previous reply

You said 'favorite' right?

I don't think this would EVER work, but the hilarity of it + it making my favorite 2 pokemon horrifying is worth it.

Start match: Abomasnow and Ninjask [w/ leftovers] (Snow Warning takes effect)
~T1:
Ninjask uses Protect
Abomasnow uses Protect
Speed Boost kicks in
~T2:
Ninjask uses Endure (I think leftovers happens before weather, so it should always survive)
Abomasnow switches to Gardevoir (w/ light clay)
~T3:
Ninjask uses Baton Pass to Glaceon (w/ bright powder or light clay)
Gardevoir uses Calm Mind
~T4:
Glaceon uses Barrier
Gardevoir uses Light Screen
~T5:
Glaceon uses Blizzard
Gardevoir uses Psych Up

You now have two monster-speed Pokemon. One swings with base 130 Sp. attack, STAB, 100% accuracy blizzard every turn on BOTH your Pokemon. The other has improved special attack and defense, and swings with various Special moves on things that might not get KO'd by Blizzard, as well as providing support for Glaceon. On top of that, they both take half damage from all attacks and Glaceon's evasion is boosted by one level.

Does it ever set up? No.

But if you let it set up, good luck.
