This thread is all about discussing our current decks and discussing fun experiences/ wins/ losses/draws.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::pokeball:

I'll go first, my current side deck, Invincible Rayquaza "Rayquaza C donk". This happened yesterday when i played its first real game against my brother, who plays "Mewtwo/ Giratina". His opening field was Mewtwo with :psychic: and a uxie on the bench. My active, Rayquaza C. I play an energy on Rayquaza, attach an expert belt. Flash bite with Crobat, THEN TRASH BURST FOR 60+20+10=90 OHKO! HE SENDS UP UXIE, DOESN'T DRAW ANYTHING, and i trash burst for game.

Any stories?

Back when I thought my league was boss, I played Undevelop at our spring BRs. I ended up in Top 2 with someone running Dialga/Palkia/Gallade, and after a long game in which I <3'd my tech Mismagius SF, I managed to pull it out twice thanks to hitting everything he has for weakness. Awesomesauce game.

Definately my Banette/Flygon back in the day. It was boss at Regionals when I donk'ed a Delta 'Queen with a T2 Banette :p Not to mention I donk'ed the same person in Top 4 with my Flygon ex with a Boost Energy. LOL

My favorite is probably taking my version of Torterrible to a Cities win last year. I remember one of the games my opponent KOs my first Torterra, and I've got no Turtwig and only two energy in play at the time. I think my setup was 2 Claydol, a GE Sceptile, and a SF Treecko. I push the Treecko, use two Candies, and revenge kill with my newly fully powered Torterra. One turn to 140HP beast. Next turn, Leveled and swept the rest of the game. Fun times ^_^.

Another experience with my Invincible Rayquaza. VS> My brother who is running a MEwtwo/ Giratina. I play down Rayquaza C, he plays drifloon. I trash burst for KO, and then he sends up Giratina and attaches an energy. I use voelkners, then trash burst for 50. He drops another energy and uses dragon claw for 30. I use potion, flash bite, trash burst for 20. He uses Dragonbreath, roles tails, so does nothing. I use Voelkners again, then do trash burst for 40 for the game. Sadly, in the next game we played he won with Giratina expert belt combo and i scooped because i couldn;t get my hands on any voelkners.

More Torterriffic (Must be only me and Bullados who like it!):

I got 2 Torterra with two grass each, expert belt and sceptile. No Claydol/Uxie or supporters. Next turn, top-deck torterra Lv.X. Good times! :thumb:

At citys I was playing my magneray deck. I was going up against regigigas. My oponnent was overconfident in thinking that my deck was weak because it wasn't metagame. He didn't even put any pokemon on his bench. He only set up regigigas with no bench. I played one of my favorite tricks and let him think he was winning until I brought out luxray for maximum pwnage! He was so shocked. My best game ever.

This is a game I lost but I think it was one of the best games I've ever played (and it's also the reason I dispise GG/Plox). It was round five in regionals '08 and I need a win to make the top8 cut. I was playing my friend Jordain, and we joked around during the whole day, saying that we'd be in this position. I was playing Darkrai/Weavile/Wigglytuff with no crystal beaches (a mistake that lost me the game) and she was using GG. I ended up only needing one more prize for the win, though i only had one darkrai with 60 damage on it and no more night mateninces. Either way, I thought that I had my first top cut in the bag. Then I hear the nice words, candy, gallade, scramble. I got beat pretty bad after that, but I still see it as one of my best games.

I lost a game in Top 2 at Spring BR's this year when someone figured out that Unown G is actually a great tech attacker against Gardevoir early game. It's still lulz-worthy down here in MS when someone brings up the epic Unown G that did <200 damage in a single game. Like sending the chess team to go play football.

When playing Kingdra Ex swarm in Battle Roads a few years back, facing a Feraligatr Hurricane deck. I was Delta Calling with Pinsir, and his body (-30 damage) was in effect. My opponent used Croconaw's Hover Over, so I couldnt retreat but also got no damage. His hand built up to around 20 cards while I was topdecking, relying on Fearow and Pinsir to get me what I needed. Then I topdecked a Copycat.........

It's always fun to try to pull off several "Flame Dashes" in a row with my "Fire Dogs" deck (which features Arcanine).
Or to pull off the "Switch Damage" move with Bannette (Platinum) in my "Spooky" deck.

Lol fun.

Typhlosion swarm (TPrime deck)

T2
2 nintailes, 2 typhlo, 1 uxie, active typhlo prime.

discard 2 energy, get 6 cards, attach 2 energy, attach for my turn, attach expert belt, donk his honchkrow G for game.

hahaha

In a Gym Challenge, I played some girl form CA or AZ I think. I went first playing D Slowking, set up t1 with rare candy, and beat her before she got a turn in. She called a judge and wouldn't accept that you could loose before you can play. It took like 10 minutes of the judges and I breaking down my plays for her to accept the loss.

Having my deck win Worlds 2002 in the 10- division. ;)

Actually, one of my favorite decks I've built is the Legendary Birds deck I play with at league. Horrifically flippy, but fun none the less.

I was playing Gengar against a Torterra deck. His Claydol and active Torterra had unown G on them. He had 8 cards remaining between his hand and deck. I had a nidoqueen, a claydol, as well as three SF Gengar in play. I had no psychic left for Mega Punch, and couldn't deal damage with Poltergeist. We were completely stalemated.

If I let him KO one of my Gengars I risked losing the flip and just handing him a prize and breaking the stalemate. He couldn't risk losing his only remaining threat on a fainting spell flip.

My favorite when I ran Blastcatty (without the Catty)... I needed to topdeck at least 2 water energies and I already had 3 attached... I need to knock out an undamaged Sky Shaymin X to win. I had Milotic C active and was forced to use the worst attack ever, Aqua Tail, so basically I needed 5 heads in a row in addition to the Energies or I would lose. SO GUESS WHO TOPDECKED 2 WATER ENERGIES AND FLIPPED 5 HEADS? ;)

I will say though, that's not as good as the guy who flipped 14 heads in a row for Speed Stadium at Cities.

I once drewe 6 with Cosmic, 3 with Setup, 3 with Professor Oak's Visit, and 9 with Speed Stadium and still couldn't get a Rare Candy.
