Favorite Sonic Zone.

Interesting question for a PokeGym forum, but I'll roll with it.

I'm a fan of the Sonic Heroes bonus level where the outside is sky and the tube is red. You can get a 200+ combo on that one. I also like the Highway with Shadow, because you can pick up a lot of hidden items there.

Emerald Hills (Sonic Advance)
City Escape (SA2B)
Casino Paradise (SADX)
Level 10 (DR. Robotnik's mean bean machine)
All of Sonic Spinball
All of Sonic 3-D
It's really hard to decide which is my most wanted.

Final Fortress? eh... i think Hang Castle Zone is the best from Heros.

Sonic 2 (Genesis): Hidden Palace Zone. (if you have Sonic Mega Collection, open Sound Test in sonic 2, and listen to track 10. Hidden Palace)

I'm not going to pick A favorite Zone! It's was hard enough for me to pick a favorite Zone from each Sonic games.

The music, I'll get back to you for that later.

My favorite zones(not in order)

1: Casino Park(Sonic Heroes)
2: Icecap Zone(Sonic 3)
3: Sky Santuary(Sonic and Knuckles)
4: Sky Chase(Sonic 2)
5: Hidden Palace(Sonic 2 beta)
6: Lava Reef Zone
7: The Doomsday(Sonic 3 and Knuckles)
8: Diamond Dust Zone(Sonic 3D Blast)

My least favorites(not in order)

1: Mystic Mansion from Sonic Heroes(this level took me monthes to beat with team Sonic)
2: Carnival Night from Sonic 3(this one took me 10 YEARS to beat)
3: Metropolis Zone from Sonic 2(GAHH! 3 acts of TERROR!)


My Favorite music(not in order)

1: Sky Chase Zone(Sonic 2)
2: Sonic 2 ending and credits(I love those medleys)
3: Diamond Dust(Sonic 3D Blast)
4: Rusty Ruin(Sonic 3D Blast)
5: Regal Ruin(Sonic R no lyrics)
6: Hidden Palace(Sonic 3 and Knuckles)
7: Hang Castle(Sonic Heroes)
8: Casino Park(Sonic Heroes)

There are most likely more but that's all I can think of now.
 
I was gonna pick the Sonic Adventure stage Windy Valley because of it's awesome remix of a Sonic 3D tune, but now I can pick an actual level too :)

Wow, I've played so many. It'll have to be a Dunjohn's Patented Top Five*:

SA: Red Mountain (Knuckles): Take note, Sonic Heroes; this is how you do "non-linear".
Sonic & Knuckles: Mushroom Valley: Sooo many routes, so little time... You can be Super/Hyper Sonic before the boss if you know your stuff.
SA2: Final Battle: Very easy last boss, but one of the most pulse-pounding battles ever; the pressure just doesn't let up.
Sonic the Hedgehog2: Metropolis Zone: A massive, intricate, intimidating, green monster of a level.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2: Aquatic Ruins: The drowning stress was never this bad in Labyrinth because here, you knew there was air up there somewhere!
Sonic the Hedgehog: Special Zone: The rotating mazes are the original and best as far as I'm concerned.

* never any particular order or size. The guys on the Magic boards know this already.
 
I've got favorite themes and level songs for each game in the Adventure Series.

SADX Themes: Even split between "It Doesn't Matter" and "Unknown from M.E."
SADX Levels: Red Mountain (Knuckles) hands down.
SA2B Themes: "Live and Learn" of course.
SA2B Levels: Crazy Gadget, Meteor Herd (just for the funny Kuriboh sound), and Normal Chao Garden
SH Themes: I like them all, but "What I'm Made Of" takes the top spot, shortly followed by "In This Machine."
SH Levels: Hang Castle. I know it's weird, but every time I hear Hillary Duff's "Coming Clean" I see this level in my head because the music kind of sounds similar when its rightside up. Either that or it would be a good substitute.
 
Ah, glad to see someone else who's fermiliar with S2beta. do you goto any sonic MB's Bakufuun?

Annother great track from Sonic games, is Rose's theme from Heros. I know it seems kinda fruity for a guy, who's favorite pokemon is metagross, to say that, but Team Rose was the first i beat heros with, and the song is good.

Team Chaotix has a good theme too.
 
If I ever have too much time to spend on the 'net - an extreme rarity, given my dial-up speed - I visit the Green Hill Zone. Best Sonic site I've found. Haven't had time to visit since before the release of Heroes...

Never finished Heroes :nonono:. In my opinion, the worst Sonic game in it's history... only redeeming feature was the Casino tune... dee da doo dee dee da doo doo...

I used to lurk around SWS2B but that was the only message board. I like cruising around other sites though.
