guys, you don't need pidgeot, you can't use its power every turn and its just not worth the space. I still would play it with parasect because paras gives you the dunsparce effect and and turn 2 you have almost all the energy you need to attack. I play 12 grass energy and 5 water energy. The best part of gatr ex is it only needs one water to attack. If you havent noticed I love the idea of shuting off all their powers all the time. Most if not all decks rely on a combo that needs powers or bodys to work. By making sure they don't get to use those powers you can cripple their set up and strategy. muk ex is an option though not a great one with psy becoming a major force in the game once again. I think there may be some new great card to combo it with in the new set. I like the idea of milotic ex because it shuts down rock lock and has 130 hp on a stage one. the problem is all the good combos I see involve an ex. I think it may be to early to try making decks when we have no idea what cards will be in the next set, their could be a ton of new combos so it may be best to chill and wait to see. I think a lot of people have been waiting for a pokemon that can shut off powers and has a great attack, now that we have one I think a lot will change when it comes to deck building.......

Hi all,

I agree with wolf52525 on stating that Pidgeot's poke-power will be shut down with Feraligator EX's power itself (or body). If one wants to add in a Pidgeot, more cards need to be replaced for more positional board control to conitnue switching between Pidgeot and Feraligator EX, which is very pricey. Miotic boasts good firepower for a stage one EX with significant amount of Hp (130 :D) but i do not like the idea of having more than 3 or 4 EXs in any single deck, maybe one needs to view the other cards in order to set up a good quick beatdown with Feraligator EX and another line. Hopefully to cover its weakness and fit the theme well.

The more i look at Feraligator EX, the more i find it so play worthy. Heres the current, updated version of the Feraligator EX deck:

Pokemon (20)
3 Totodile (evolution)
3 Croconaw (evolution)
3 Feraligator EX (beatdown)
3 Electrike (evolution)
3 Manectric (beatdown)
3 Plusle/Dunsparce (draw/beatdown)
2 Unown (beatdown (Hidden power))

Trainers (23)
3 Steven's Advice (draw)
3 Celio's Network (draw)
3 Prof.Cozmo's Discovery (draw)
3 Master Ball (draw)
3 TV Reporter (draw)
2 Island Cave/Space Center (enable)
2 Crystal Shard (enable)
2 Warp Point (enable/disable)
2 ATM Rock (disable)

Energy (17)
7 Water Energy
6 Lightning Energy
4 Boost Energy

Basically changed the Camerupts to Manectric of EX Deoxys as they fit the theme well with Lightning Spear as well as a good amount of damage and as a Zappy EX killer. Also, if the spoilers are right, the 2 Unowns are the way to go for further bench damage and manipulation of Tidal Wave of Feraligator EX.

SPOILER:

Feraligatr Ex
Stage two Water Pokémon
Hit Points: 150
Poke-Body: Scary Tooth
If this Pokémon is your active Pokémon, all Poke-Power and Poke-Body (both players) stop working (except those from pokemon-ex).
[WC] Tsunami (30)
Does 10 damage to all of your opponent's benched Pokémon.
[WCCC] Strong Bite (70+)
Does 10 more damage for each damage counter on the defending Pokémon.
Retreat Cost: CCC
Weakness:L
