Fighting or Electric?

With Dark Explorers being release with cards like Raikou & Groundon EX i want to try to make a deck with one of the two (preferrably Groudon bc i got 1 at a prerelease but idk), I'm wondering, with the current Used decks or Zeels, and terrakion which path should i go down? Make a fighting deck or an Electric deck?

Why not do both?

Build both an electric deck and fighting deck online, play some games with randomly paired opponents, and see which one works better for you.

I wouldn't make a deck relying on Groudon, due to the horrible Match-Up vs. Empoleon... If you'd like to play something with Fighting try something with Terrakion and Tornadus/Tornadus EX for example.

With that logic

Don't play Zeels because of Terrakion
Don't play Zorua/Weaville because of Donphan
Don't play Empoleon because of Zeels
Don't play CMT because of Dark.decks
Don't play Tornadus EX because of Zeels
Don't play Durant because of Heatmor

Point being Empoleon won't be played nearly enough to cause concern for a Groudon player. Its attacks, resistance and type is too good for it not to see play during battle roads/nationals.

Empoleon will become the new Magnezone, nothing more.

If you're referring to Magnezone in the HS-NVI format (BDIF), then I think that you are crazy. If you are trying to draw a parallel between Empoleon and Magnezone in the MD-on format (A severely underrated card with untapped potential), you might be onto something. But if your intention was to compare Empoleon to Magnezone in the HS-NXD fomat (An incredible card that was printed in a format defined by speed and ridiculous power creep), then I couldn't agree more...
