Eevee234 said:I think it's somebody in Pokegym. Plus, that's a ton for just one card. Charizard's popularity in TCG cards could be a factor though, but I can't believe $67 for one CharizardEx that's just unbelievable.
godevoir said:You guys know what?? I sold My charizard EX for 67 on e-bay, Sooooooo what. I use almost ecery penny I make on E-bay to buy cards... So get over it.

I think he was referring to the people that *paid* the money - not the sellers.godevoir said:Man, I pulled that card out oof a pack at the PRE-RELEASE. Isn't that the point of the pre-release???? to get the cards before the release date?? Maybe you should get all teh info before you start raggong on people, and just get over it.
menoknow said:Yours already has a bidder at $35.
The next Charizard EX to close has 7.5 hours left and is at $26.

godevoir--I'm glad yours sold for that much. I don't think anyone is saying anything bad towards you. That's what someone wanted to pay for it--good for you! Plus I think that means there was 2 people willing to pay that much. Someone probably put in there max bid of say $70 and another guy kept bidding higher but couldn't get above the first bidders amount. I haven't used ebay for awhile but I think that's how it works. If something is at $5 and you bid $10, your bid will be shown as $5+the minimum bid increase unless someone else has a higher 'hidden' bid. So there was at least 2 potential big spenders on yours. So, maybe the next one to close will be at least $50. Pokemon is definetly alive and well!
...as the old saying goes, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch"Just watched the linked auction close. Was at $41 with 1 min and 58 sec left.
$46 w/28 sec left
$51 w/3 sec left
$56 at close
This same bidder (Spyro62) also won my auction but now doesn't want to pay, blaming ebay for some "unusal" process that bid up his price. Yeah right (cough, cough). All of this coversation have may be irrelevant. Spyro62 ( the buyer ) has decided he " made a mistake" and wont be taking the Zard. Then he goes and bids ( and wins) my second on Sat. night.I'm not sure who this DEADBEAT is, but to all of you potential traders on the gym - BEWARE of this guy. He OBVIOUSLY is not a man of his word!!!! NOT RIGHT at all!
