Pikachu and the other guy have an area of text right below the card art with a picture of what seems to be a berry.

Interesting to note these Pokemon do not have flavor text and do not seem to have an owner in their name (unlike the 'pokemon as energy' Holons' Pokemon).

It's unclear whether these are Pokemon that function as tools (like the Holons), or whether they are regular pokemon with 'built in' tools.

rofl, pokemon as tools?
how about pokemon as gust of wind?

This is pretty odd... but still cool I guess.

Attach a Holon Magnemite and Pikachu to a Delta Raichu LOL

I could see that for something like a Claydol or a Seedot, something that could be a Tool or a Berry. But a Pikachu? what is it supposed to be, a pelt or something?

i'm pretty sure they HAVE the tools. you probably play a counter and remove it when you use it or sometihng. that makes more sense, lol.

Yeah...I seriously doubt they're Pokemon AS tools like Holon's Pokemon, but rather Pokemon with built in tools.
Holon's Pokemon MADE SENSE. Castform, Electrode, and Magneton could be forms of energy.
But Pikachu cannot be a berry.

Yeah, I can see the pokemon having a built in berry. Pokemon AS tools is pretty much beyond logic.

IMO, they will be bodies that you can only use once while that pokemon is in play.

Something like this:

At any time in between turns, if Pikachu has 2 or more damage counters on it, you may remove 2 damage counters from Pikachu, and place 1 Seal Marker on Pikachu.

I don't see how ATTACHING them as tools would make any sense.

PikaTool - Pokemon Tool

[Required Tool Text]

Attach this to one of your Pikachus in play. That Pikachu's attacks now do 30 more damage, as he is now turned on by the PikaTool. Pikachu now takes exactly 60 seconds longer to attack. (Please place a hat over Pikachu at this time so he may have some privacy.) A Windstorm wll not discard the PikaTool, as it';s having too good of a time to notice.

That's naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasty...
