You go to your "collection" and click the tab at the top that changes it from your card collection to your packs. Then you click the image of the pack and open it.

The issue has been fixed. I played a couple games today, and when my opponent left the room I was instantly given the win.

Pokepop, I'm not sure where you're looking to find your "record", but it has already been stated numerous times on the tcgo community forums by moderators that there currently isn't any ranking system. It does not yet keep track of your win / loss record and as such doesnt pair you against suitable opponents.

i don't think 'pop (nor my league parent) is talking about people leaving the room, but people going inactive and leaving the other player 'in limbo' until THEY quit, losing the game...

'mom

A scenario I've had to deal with is twice I've gotten a big blue box with an error code in it, and nothing I do can make it go away or let me continue with any choices, once was a flash error, another using Zoarark's foul play attack. All I could do was close the entire session and come back later.
Thankfully, so far my opponents who quit concede.

Bernie

Agree with the OP - exceptionally annoying when they do that. The worst part is that even when the timer runs out for them, it just restarts, so they don't lose on time.

Btw, I enjoyed our game the other day Pokepop :)

Rage quit is the worst thing to do in anything lol it hapens to me constanly on my xbox so of course youll see it on the pokemon tcg online stuff ...

Really?
Let me go try!

Haha well I'm asuming it was fixed because today I joined a game, saw my hand and was declared the winner. Later finding out my opponent left.

So unless my opponent decided to concede as soon as he saw he was playing me :thumb:

I have yet to play a start-up online game that didn't have bandwidth, lag, and downright freezes at time. Especially when in beta. Let's hold out hope that at least some of your losses are from that Pop, though it doesn't sound like it from your description.

I'm getting pretty annoyed by this.
Silly me,

Silly me too. I think they have a great thing started, I told them so.

I sent detailed beta test report, cuz we are beta testing, right?

Number one wrong was I don't know if opponent is really chatting at me, or left game, or....

Not even a 'thanks-for-report' message, nothing....

Seems like a one way street, I was trying to be helpful...

Opponent left match should instantly end, no?

Many people leave after they see you play card X or Y.
Some even are talking trash against you in the chat (ingame).

I had a game against Chrisbo, but during the game I got a blue screen so I had to "leave the room".
But also lag/freezing the game happens very often.

Yay! It seems to have been fixed.

As for lag problems, I had some in the first days that I was on, but that seems to be much better now. Hardly any lag at all.
There are some issues with lag in terms of selecting cards, but I haven't found it to be horrible.
But I'm used to "dial up days".

I have the same click with no effect issue while looking through the deck, however it only happens on my laptop. When playing on the desktop everything seems to run much more smoothly.

Dropping a Losing Game

I have enjoyed the beta version immensely. I have had fun trading cards and making decks that I would not have normally thought of. And while the dropping of games is annoying, I leave the chat box open to see when/if my opponent leaves, my biggest problem is how they deal with complaints. I sent in three problems that ocurred repeatedly and all I received was a notification that the case was closed. I thought that meant thr problem had been fixed. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I ended up getting an error code and had to refresh the page. I wish we could be told when the problems were fixed. I do not want my opponent to think I was dropping a game because I was losing.

For Magic Online, the way they handle it is they implement a built in Chess Timer. Each player gets 25 minutes on their "clock". If a player runs out of clock, they lose the game. If a player goes "inactive" or "leaves" their clock eventually hits 0, and they receive a loss just as if you had beaten them. They also have a " time out" feature, where after 10 minutes of inactivity/disconnection, a player is given a loss. This stops MOST issues, although if someone wants to be a total scumbag, they'll go AFK, making you wait, then come back in 9 minutes, just to re-set the time out count, and force the full 25 on you, but it REALLY reduces the amount of issues. By the time they implement actual tournaments, they'll definitely need a time system, and a "total" play time for a round doesn't work for an online system like this...so not only would a Chess Timer be basically necessary, it also solves these problems.

I trust Ruiner's Magic suggestion.

I haven't done on line TCG play yet, but I can tell you stories about XBox Madden play. A persons W/L record and more importantly their DNF%. (Did Not Finish) The DNF% is something that best indicator of who is without honor. If you have a DNF% of less than 7%, than means you don't ussually quit, and when you do, it might have been a network issue. The DNF% of 30% are clearly the "poor" sports.

I do hope that TCG does address these scenarios.
