So after a wierd opening season, i decide to play a real deck, a.k.a smearglock. Its chenlock with more smeargle and less sableye. Night before i build all of my boys smearglock, get to sleep at 4 in the morning.
Wake up, feel really sick, start gagging, but eventually it stops.
Round 1:vs Machamp/Vileplume
She flips over Machop and i'm like NOOOOOOOOOO. Basically she gets out machamp t4 through tombing but it was too slow for the garchomp/uxie trade off. Game comes down to 1-1 prizes with me being able to pull out the last one.
Round 2:vs Machamp/Umbreon
She flips over eevee and i'm relieved until she benches MACHOP! NOOOOOOOOO! I giratina/initiative her, give her a horrible hand, and setup while she struggles to do anything. It goes down to time where she has nothing out and i have 1 prize to her 4, i win.
Round 3:Tangrowth starter deck!!!!!!
Flips over tangela and im like woah is this some cool sd? NAHHH just a tangrowth starter deck. So i won.
Round 4:Luxchomp
Start with chatot g vs luxray gl, dce gg
Kinda sad because Robert and i never play a real game, he always t1's me(he ended up going 8-0 in swiss)
Round 5:Luxchomp
Playing vs Brad is never easy. But my bad hand makes this even worse, then he flips over sableye and initiatives my only supporter in hand, while i draw garbage. i scoop before i get 6-0'd.
Round 6:Smearglock
Unfortunatley i have to play my boy jorge. Unfortunatley i start off with the nuts and use smeargle 3 times first turn and initiative him with sableye, along with double spray. GG bro, you da best.
Round 7:Larvitar
He starts with larvitar, goes first, mountain eater, i collector for sableye/unown d/q and drop the bat in hand, gg man.
Round 8:Charizard
I lock him NASTY and kill his lone vulpix.
6-2 in swiss, not too shabby. 15th seed, my boy starwars is 29th seed, YEAHHHHH!

I hear he plays DialgaChomp, so i figure it wouldnt be too difficult. His garbage draws make it easy for me to win, 2-0. Great mat man, i liek mudkips.

Game 1, it comes down VERY close, at 2-1 with me in the lead i judge him to try to get an extra turn, he draws into the dce and the chomp x, i scoop.
Game 2, he starts sableye i start sableye and chose to go first, bat sp dark gg.
Game 3:I drop chatot g, initiative with impersonate, hit his cyrus, he's stuck, i setup and 6-0.

WHYYYYYY do i have to play vs k-koba. Not only is this my boy, but its a matchup i've never played. Game 1 comes down close, i kill his first belted gigas before it levels, he gets a second one and starts catching up, i warp point to take the last prize. Game 2, i start bad and he's going second, he gets a strong start and has a complete lock, i scoop very fast. Game 3 was EPIC! Its looking like i have no way to kill his poisoned gigas, but i poketurn my active, bring up smeargle, portrait the blackbelt that i saw in his hand earlier, use psychic restore to kill his belted gigas, and that was the downfall. GG man, great job on top 8.

Mewdos, i can only beat steve if i lock him, which didnt happen due to 7 starters he runs. I lose after i hit 2 prizes each game because i cant keep up the prize trade.
So top 4, i'm lovin it.
