The 2015 Florida State Championships will be held at the Holiday Inn in Viera, FL April 10-12, 2015.

TCG League Challenge
Registration: 5:30-6:30pm, Start: 6:45pm
Price: $5 for all age groups
Attendance will be capped at 32 per age group

Format:
  • 60-card Modified-Standard deck (see legal set list on right)
  • Number of Swiss Rounds will be determined by the number of players
  • Rounds are 30 minutes + 3 turns. No top cut
  • Decklists are required (Deck checks are optional for all players)

Prizes for each age division:

  • 1st place – League Challenge Promo card
  • 2nd place – League Challenge Promo card
  • 3rd place – League Challenge Promo card
  • 4th place – League Challenge Promo card
Additional prizes may be added (based on age-group attendance)

TCG 8-Man Pick-ups (Win a Mat)
Registration: 5:30-9:00pm, Start: 6:00pm or whenever sign-up sheet is full
Price: $5 for all age groups
Format:

  • Decklists are not required

Florida State Championship

On-site Check In/Deck Checks: 8:30 AM-10:00 AM
Player meeting begins at approximately 10:30 AM

Deck Checks are optional for Masters, mandatory for Juniors/Seniors. You must Check in and turn in your decklist or be in the Deck Check line with your decklist ready no later than 10AM or you may receive a first round loss. Please keep your deck in the same order as your decklist. Don’t be late!

Players who show up with typed decklist and their deck in the same order will be entered into a SPECIAL RAFFLE for Sealed booster box of Pokémon XY Primal Clash! (Minor edits/changes are allowed)

Price:
  • Juniors – Born 2004 or later – FREE
  • Seniors – Born 2000, 2001, 2002 or 2003 – FREE
  • Masters – Born in 1999 and earlier — $20.00
    Parents who are playing in the event and have at least one child playing in any age division will receive a $5 discount applied to their own entry fee (must check in together)
Format:
  • Modified-Standard 60 card deck (see legal card list on right)
  • Number of Swiss Rounds will be determined by the number of players
  • ALL AGE GROUPS: 50 minutes +3 (Best 2 out of 3 Swiss games)
  • Top Cuts will be single elimination 2 out of 3 match play (75 minute time limit)
Top Cuts for all age groups are planned for Sunday. Juniors and Seniors Top Cuts may play out on Saturday (Time permitting. Based on attendance)

All players will receive:
  • 3 Play Points for participating
  • 1 States Promo Card (while supplies last)
In addition, the first 250 players to register online will receive a special Commemorative Florida State Championships Play Mat

  • Players must have 4-6 Pokémon in their Battle Box ready to play. Each player must submit a team sheet.

  • Standard Double Battles
  • Only Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Game Cards or downloadable versions are permitted for use
  • Players may use Pokémon from the National Pokédex, from No. 001–719, that are caught in the game, transferred from a previous Pokémon title, or received at an official event or distribution
  • The following Pokémon may not be on a player’s team:
