Well Flygon is really gaining popularity and since i was i fan of the previous Flygon ex from LM i decided that this Flygon d EX would be a good deck to build

The strategy is simple using Jolteon Ex to damage all of the opponents and using Flygon d Ex to amplify the damage. Espeon Ex of course is for devolving the opponents pokemon to create a somewhat rock lock effect especially to those 2nd stage pokemon brought into play by rare candy.

I chose Eevee d so i can take more advantage of Castform's delta draw.. I guess everything else is kinda self explanatory

Any fix and suggestions are most welcome

Use the HP Trapinch instead of the lousy 40 hit point DF. The grass type has 50 hit points, and is still a delta type. Try to tech in Umby ex here too. Here's my fixes:
-2 Holon Ruins
-1 Holon Voltorb
-3 Lightning
-2 PETM
-1 Flygon EX
+1 Holon Researcher
+4 Delta Rainbow
+3 Holon Trode
+1 Umbreon EX

IMO Umby goes real good with this deck. No need for 3 Flygon ex. Chimecho may be good, but what happens if he gets prized? >.< Hope this helps the deck.

i think an altaria d ex from DF isnt needed in this deck.

i think 1 chimeco is really dangerous but i dont think i can fit in 1 more. i dont think i need delta rainbow and holon electrode as there are more and more decks in our country with derail or energy removal
 
u should try it with queen it works

2 stage 2 might be troublesome not to mention another pokemon to be affected by holon legacy, battle front, cursed stone id rather go for fearow because it is just stage 1

what to take out?

just played this deck in a major tournament and having so little time to practice this deck i found some changes to the initial deck list was needed.
2 espeon ex was not needed 1 was enough, 2 would just be needed for consistency but i dont think its as important as jolteon ex. removing 1 lass and adding another mentor i believe was a better judgement simply because i only have 10 energies that i could use lass for i would rather go with direct draw via holon's castform

some problems i encounter are
a) safeguard pokemon (banette and dustox)
b) chimeco tends to eat up bench space
 
While I wont give out any hints of what my deck has in it (3rd,3rd,2nd) in 3 Cities This Year. I will tell you that from my playtesting, Chimecho d isnt need and I found that Eeveelutions just completely slowed the deck down to the point where you wouldnt be winnning since your opponent would be set up before you. However if you dedicated to playing Eeveelutions and your having a problem with Safeguard Poke, I personally would find room for Vaporeon Ex which has Fastwave and gets thru safeguard. I also found that windstorm isnt need for the fact that the only deck that you should be worried about play cessation (which is the main reason it is in there I would think) is Delta (RaiEggs) and you should win since Flygon Ex (d) OHKO everything in the deck,

Chimecho d isnt need

im starting to have the same sentiment just because it eats up bench space which should have been better for another flygon. im still finding ways to offset the discard made by the holon engine, im even thinking of removing the whole engine and changing to other supporters which doesnt require discard but it is still under playtesting (ive only had the deck for two weeks now)

found that Eeveelutions just completely slowed the deck
eeveelutions has two main weakness
1. ex with low hp considering the high damage output of the new metagame
2. waiting for the right time to use it
maybe ill need more playtesting before i decide to change the concept of the deck

Hmm. No offense, but I still say the Eeveeloution work best in this deck. The concept may seem slow but it works. But I understand the argument being put out there, as it is very much true. You start slow and you stay slow for the most part. -_-
 
I know this isnt any help to the deck builder but are you allowed to have lets say 4 Flygon and 4 Flygon Ex in the same deck. Sorry Im a noob.

yup your right it works I just need to find something to improve the deck further ^^ i dont think its slow at all just requires the right timing specially in using the evolutionary thunder

yup can but you cant have
4 flygon and 4 flygon d in the same deck because they share the same name
flygon ex on the other hand becomes a new name
 
Mm. Have you tried the Umby ex yet? He works quite well. I'll just be honest, here's how I used to run the eevee lines.
2 Jolt
2 Espy
1 Umby
1 Vapor

Vapor gets thru Safeguard, Umby gets some advantage of killing off and early threat to this deck when played right, and he's all around good fighter. Espy is obvious, as is Jolt. I run it differently now however. Would you mind updating the deck list plz?
 
wow nice build, 9 outta 10, umm i say take out a Mentor for a researcher, ive noticed when running the engine you may run into a sitch of top decking a Mentor when you needed something like a researcher.

i do update the deck as i try to use it (^^,) vaporeon cannot kill a dustox id rather attack with a combination of jolteon ex and flygon d (evo thunder+swift=70 enough to kill bannete and doing it twice can kill dustox). fastwave can only do 40 which could be dangerous specially when against dustox who could 2HKO vaporeon. umby like espy is very conditional and requires the right timing to use. The design of my deck is to damage the opponent with sand damage+evothunder+psychic pulse early on to spread out damage assuring a OHKO on whatever pokemon the oponnent will place in the active which renders umbreon redundant and unnecessary. also playing many eeveelutions will require more bench space(something the deck already has problems with) for eevees waiting for the right time to use the eons pokepower

edited the deck (added 2 more delta rainbow to enable more possibility for flygon d to attack)
* removing 2 Prof Oak for 1 chimeco d and 1 more rare candy may not be the best idea but ill see how it goes

Ah good point about Umby. My version of this deck is simply to kill off some potential threats early so I keep my eye on certain pokes (Shuppet, Wurmple, etc) and kill them with Flygon. I don't think Pinsir d would be so hot in this deck. The eeveeloutions work much better. Umm, as for this:

Uh, DS Weezing is a definite no. After it attacks and lays out damage, it's worthless. The eeveeloutions can actually fight after Jolt's Evo Thunder. And take out Flygon d and max Flygon? :confused: Clarify that won't you? If you mean take out the nrg dropping Flygon, that's a definite no. You need to be able to pump Flygon ex quick. Taking out the Flygon nrg dropper would kill this deck. Sides, if you can stack, why not do it?
