Flygon d Ex Deck

Try adding a spearow and a delta fearrow line. It can make wonde

if only spearow was d then it would have been a sure hit in the deck. i also wanna try this out but again with the ideal set up there is no bench space for it
1 chimeco d
1 flygon d
2 eevee d waiting for the right time to use eons pokepower
2 flygon d ex
the only thing you could remove would be chimeco and eevee which will make the deck suffer

potential threats early so I keep my eye on certain pokes (Shuppet, Wurmple, etc)
i hate going against this safeguard pokemon they have acension and they set up really quick but its only useful against deck that uses ex and easily falls against non ex deck.

You can mentor Spearrow. Umbreon is also good against banette ex and can pull potential treat from your opponents bench. Drop chimeco make it into one and you could drop holons voltorb as well and make rare candy to three only.

Agreed. Safeguard does set up fast, but that's also why you have Flygon HP in there. Not only can he attach real quick, he can also drop auto 60. As for Dustox, I'm not to afraid of him, he's easily dealt with, and not to mention I can drag up his wurmple if I see him nrgize it even once. I luv Umby for that purpose. :thumb:

why not prove this:

pokemon(25)

3x Flygon D ex
1x Flygon D
3x Vibrava( 2 Psy Pokebody,1 Grass)
4x Trapinch (1 Grass,3 Psy you choose)
2x Nidoqueen D
1x Nidorina d
2x Nidoran d(f)
1x Altaria d ex
1x Swablu d
4x Holon's Castform
1x Holon's Voltorb
1x Holon's Electrode
1x Tropius d

Trainers

4x Lanette Net Search
4x Rare Candy
4x Windstorm
4x Tv Reporter
4x Copycat
2x PETM
1x Holon Farmer
1x Power Tree
1x Switch

Energy (10)

10x Psy Energy

The Eeveelutions are not neccesary of all,the consistency is more inportant, flygon d ex are low but the power of altaria more the power of the flygon d, flygon d is a monster, well good luck with this

if i was a mod i'd ban you on spot out of shere inconpasity to think.

Eeveelutions is perfect for flygon. The lest u have doesnt even use the holon engine!! AH! And power tree? TV? LANETTE?!?!?!?!?!

....=_=

Your gonna have a very bad start with this kind of deck. Altaria is just begging to get abused by Eggs/Cursed Stone/Boom/anything that kills ex powers and pwnz em. Flygon is way better since it GETS THROUGH SAFEGUARD.

the decklist at the begining of this thread was pretty decent, just drop 1 Chime and replace the 2 lightning for 2 psychihc and do whatever you want for the other two spots.

Well Flygon is really gaining popularity and since i was i fan of the previous Flygon ex from LM i decided that this Flygon d EX would be a good deck to build

Pokemon 26
4 Holon's Castorm
4 Trapinch d (HP)
3 Vibrava d (DF bite)
2 Flygon d
3 Flygon d Ex
3 Eevee d
1 Espeon Ex
2 Jolteon Ex
2 Holons Voltorb
2 Chimeco d

Trainer 24
4 Rare Candy
2 Holon Ruins
2 Wind Storm
2 Warp Point
2 Professor Elms Training Method
4 Holon Transceiver
2 Holon Adventurer
2 Holon Mentor
1 Holon Scientist
1 Holon Farmer
2 Holon Researcher

Energy 10
4 Psychic
2 Lightning
4 Delta Rainbow

The strategy is simple using Jolteon Ex to damage all of the opponents and using Flygon d Ex to amplify the damage. Espeon Ex of course is for devolving the opponents pokemon to create a somewhat rock lock effect especially to those 2nd stage pokemon brought into play by rare candy.

I chose Eevee d so i can take more advantage of Castform's delta draw.. I guess everything else is kinda self explanatory

Any fix and suggestions are most welcome

Vell Im Using it this way... Pokemon: 22

4x Trapinch δ
2x Vibrava δ
3x Flygon ex δ
1x Flygon δ
4x Eevee δ

1x Farmer
1x Lass
1x Reasearcher
4x Rare Candy
2x PETM
2x Copy
2x Windstorm
3x Scoop up
2x Power Tree

Energy

8x Psychic
4x Lightning .... In it works very vell too ;)

@kimppa
there's only one thing i would change in your list and thats having just 1 flygon d. i know you only need one in play but having 2 for consistency and improved chances against safeguard. it could also be useful after using superscoop up on a flygon d ex or eons to power them up faster^^

updated the list to match the current deck im play testing gonna enter a tournament tom and ill share the results tom ^^

2x Metal

This is what I've put together for my son. I can see the need for the third Jolteon in the deck, because you very well will probably have to drop two during a game, but I only have 2 so I'm hoping it'll get by.

i would suggest, since u are playing 4 candies anyways, dropping 1 chimecho, and 1 Holon's Voltorb for a 1-0-1 Queen line. this is from the original list only. would also suggest u adding in something on the lines of Warp Enerhy, to drag up other pokemon and spread around the damage a bit more.

which vibrava?

The DF #42 (Bite) has much better attacks, but I've also heard that the DF rare (#24) is good because of the free retreat (trapinch start, attach, t2 evolve and free retreat to castform for delta draw) but it has a horrible attack.

What do you guys think?

40 hp seems quite dangerous because many pokemon can OHKO a 40hp basic, the attack is really great if it only had 50 hp

the other vibrava d can perform better and being able to confuse an ex pokemon is great, 1 energy 20 is a great deal ^^ i dont like the rare one it takes a long time to power up and it relies on a flip

I only play 2 jolty and one espy with only 2 eevees and I won a cities with it

thats a good idea since you realy dont need 3 or 4 eevees in play. do you run super scoop up?

ill try that tech ^^ and warp seems to be a good idea ill see what happens

only a few can and mot everyone is trying to set up also so the hp isnt that big a worry

You shouldnt be atacking with vibrava the free retreat is better

NO

You don't need eeveelutions, it's not good. Your better off with other stuff. Like queen/fearow/flygon d/alteria. I'd like to see a count of flygon EX decks that placed well at cities w/ and w/out eevee.

Play the grass trapinch from HP. 50 HP means disconnect can't OHKO you.

Play the vibrava that does Sonic Noise. 60 + confuse to something like Mew ex isn't anything to laugh at.

What would you play instead of Eeveelutions? Jolteon's power is soooooo good. Umbreon can drag up something that can't retreat and possibly give you another stab at their bench. Vaporeon, if you choose to play it, kills their hand, which is great. Espeon can devolve a benched pokemon with huge damage. Eevee d makes it possible to use them with delta draw.

What are the disadvantages to eeveelutions in this deck? So far in this thread I've seen Low HP exs and the timing of playing the eeveelutions. The low HP isn't that huge of a problem IMO, there's little to no steelix, pokenon reversal, etc that can bring them up to be knocked out, so just don't attack with it if you're worried. As for timing... that's something you won't get right without playing the deck for a while.

I really do think eevee is the best way to go with this.

PokeMontoya has the right idea. 3 Flygon ex d, 2 Flygon d, and some eevees.

GL

I won with eevees and used 2 flygon d with 3 of the ex
i won twice w/out eevees and Drew already said that he got 3rd/3rd/2nd? i think it was. Im not sure about the other "13 Flygon ex d" decks though.

This is more than funny topic to watch^^. Kimppa's list is closest to perfect, but still has a few bugs. I agree with ignatious to add umbreon, since banettedoom is one of the worst matchups for flygon. Metanite is close to autowin and same goes for raieggs. Vaporeon is useless-yes, it sure can be useful vs. some decks sometimes. Still, all your opponent needs is one holon scientist which is quite often found from that four cards with 4 transceivers in deck. So what i´m trying to say by this, vap is good, but there are too much better choices availible. Flareon i´ve tested, but found it quite useless.
