Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Forced to quit Pokemon?

Even though I really like pokémon, I have other hobbies as well. Fishing is my primary hobby now because I cannot make it to league every week, but I can go fishing every week. I still play pokémon with my friends, go to tournaments ( A BR tomorrow), and make it to league occasionally, but not as much as I used to. You should try new hobbies, and that way you can meet some new people.

I only have 1 question for you:

What is pokemon in your ladder of priorities right now in your life?

I'll get back to you when you answer the question for yourself. Think hard about that one.

Do what i did!
Keep playing it around them and they might get to want to know what make it so fun and why its not kiddy!
It works for me and still is...
Plus it bugs the heck out of people!
(Its a good way to market and sell stuff too!)

Apprentice doesnt work, trust me, I can hardly find anyone to play where i connect to hamachi. BTW through apprentice, u dont get to see the real cards. It'll turn out to be boring...

Just make a league of ur own. *Someone gotta start it in ur area! And that someone might just be u!

I seriously considered quitting for a while. From when I was 13-16 I couldn't find a single person, and wasn't even a member here.

Now I'm 18, and pretty much everyone knows I'm a pokemon addict. It's never lost me a friend, and it's gained me a couple.

So keep it. Can't do you any harm. Just don't go and sit in a café by yourself and hope someone will come by who's also a fan. I tend to carry my DS around, and if I see someone else playing it, I talk to them.

Cards, only at league.

You can have multiple interests, so while you're with non-pokémon friends, obviously try and talk about other things.

try starting a league, and attracting new players to the game
you can also try making new friends, and see if they want to get into the game

yes you should start a league, it is the perfect way to meet others (your age or maybe not) who enjoy what you enjoy...
or get another thing to do in your spare time...like watching tv shows or fishing or listening to music...

I have my own league (PKMN VG league though) here in West Virginia and there are tons of people (adults too) who like it. It has worked out great for me (about 35 people here) and it might for you too. :)

If I was you, I would seriously consider starting a league then as the weeks go on people will keep coming. Maybe there's people in your area, your age, that need to somebody to play with.
