French Nationals coverage (16-17 June)

Hi,

The French Nationals are this week-end. Sadly, we don't have an awesome live coverage like the German, but if you're interested, you can follow the tournament via AirCutter.

What is AirCutter ?
It's an awesome, er, thing invented by Marco Escher from Italy, and then recreated in French by Christophe Caron. It allows the organiser of a tournament to put pairings, standings (and everything generated by TOM) online, so that players can access them via an user-friendly website on their phone.

As a side effect, it allows people from anywhere in the world to follow the results of a tournament, round by round, with only minimal delay.
You just have to follow this link this week-end to access pairings and standings whenever our organiser puts them online.

I'll try to post the decks in top cut tomorrow evening, and answer any questions you might have.

On Sunday, the finals may be streamed live if we can manage it, we'll obviously post a link if we do it.

Thank you !

Darkrai dominated early Nats (Norway, Finland etc) then Germany was dominated by CMT and France now infested with Vanilluxe.

I think it just got interesting!!

Vanilluxe's popularity is actually mainly due to the Italian nationals, where the Ceolin brothers went 7-0 and 6-1 with it.
Christophe Caron (the 7-0 player in France) said he chose the deck because of Andrea Ceolin's success with it (even though I'm sure Pooka's videos were one more reason to play it). Then he convinced his teammates (including Thibaut and Caroline who made top cut) to play it too.

These VVV lists include Bellossom, I don't think there's anything unusual to them beyond that.

To be fair CMT has a good matchup vs darkrai decks unless darkrai plays mewtwo.

Its very surprising to see VVV doing so well,. i am curious if US/CA/UK players use unown cure or espeon dex because trainerlock + status condition were very good at "big" nationals.

Thanks to those who supported me!
It was a great tournament.
Andrea, I'm sorry, I had to play against Cédric in top 8, I know you rooted for him!

Also, I confirm that the French players who played VVV did it because of Andrea. Christophe confided to me that he wasn't that impressed by Pooka's list! =p
(Maybe I shouldn't say that :D)
