Hello everybody! I'm new to this forum and I was looking for feedback on this deck I might build. It's my first time sharing a deck list so cut me some slack for obvious errors ☺️
_____________
POKEMON
[] - 2-2 Pyroar (Flash Fire)
[] - 3-2-3 Blaziken (Furious Fist)
[] - 2 Registeel Ex
[] - 1 Mewtwo Ex
(15 Pokemon)
TRAINERS/SUPPORTERS
[] - 3 Blacksmith
[] - 2 N
[] - 3 Shauna
[] - 2 Lysandre
[] - 1 Lysandre Trump Card
[] - 2 Juniper
[] - 2 Skyla
[] - 2 Fiery Torch
[] - 3 Ultra Ball
[] - 2 Level Ball
[] - 1 Sacred Ash
[] - 2 Bicycle
[] - 2 Roller Skates
[] - 2 Silver Bangle
[] - 2 Rare Candy
[] - 2 Evosoda
(33 Supporters)
ENERGY
[] - 2 DCE
[] - 6 Fire Energy
(12 Energy)
= 60 Cards

Deck Strategy

• Turn 1 ➡️ Set up 2 Litleos and a Torchic (attach energy to Torchic)
• Turn 2 ➡️ Evolve either first or second Litleo into a Pyroar as a wall and either Rare Candy for a Blaziken or evolve Torchic into a Combusken (attach energy to Combusken/Blaziken)
• Turn 3 ➡️ Fully set up Blaziken for Burning Shot (150 snipe damage) with a potential +30 damage if attacking opponent's Active with Silver Bangle (correct me if I'm wrong about the Bangle)
• Next couple of Turns ➡️ use Blacksmith to hit back to back 150-180 damage while setting up next Blaziken
> Registeel is for spread 30 damage on already damaged EX's
> Mewtwo is for energy hogs like other Mewtwos or Yveltal

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I built this deck as well. However, I used mine for the Standard Format (BCR-on). Its a good idea to play, especially with the new Scorched Earth Stadium letting you drop a Fire Energy to draw, then you being able to Blacksmith. As for Silver Bangle, I'm still confused. On the PTCGO, I saw JWittz use this deck, with Silver Bangle and hit a Benched Yveltal-EX for 180 instead of 150. However, when I read Silver Bangle, it said it only modifies the damage to ACTIVE Pokemon-EX. Not sure if there was a bug with the online game or what. Since I build mine for Standard though, I don't have access to Registeel-EX. Though I'm sure if I looked, I could find a decent Pokemon (BESIDES EVIL LANDORUS-EX) to do some Bench Sniping. I could imagine you using Registeel though. Hit 3 different EXs with Blaziken for 150 each. Then finish it with Registeel-EX and take all six prizes at once. That would be amazing.

And of course the one big problem with the deck is the bane of everyone's existence: Seismitoad. Pyroar won't help you much because of Poison Damage. Hammer on your fire energy won't hurt too much because of blacksmith but when they get rid of your DCE it can become a problem. I can't really see anything to tech into the deck other than Leafeon which would still be very unconventional. Are there any Fire types in Primal Clash with Barrier Trait?

Trevenant EX comes to mind but it would only end up doing 100 (120 with Muscle Band) to Seismitoad EX unless they slap Weakness Policy onto it to minimize the damage being dealt, Magcargo's the only Fire type with the Barrier Trait which not only helps get around Enhanced Hammer but also ensures that you're doing 120 for a DCE and a Fire to Seismitoad EX despite getting 2HKO'ed from Quaking Punch.

Thank you all for replying. I can see where Seismitoad can become a problem. Another thing I would insert into this deck is a counter stadium of some form, because of Mountain Ring bringing the death of sniping decks.

Scorched Earth would be your go to counter stadium in here as it's a continuous Fiery Torch that works off of Blacksmith nicely. I don't see Mountain Ring or Silent Lab being played as much as Virbank City Gym right now. I'm a bit surprised that you aren't running VS Seeker or even Battle Compressor, perhaps you should consider running Jirachi EX for Stellar Guidance.

Yes Scorched Earth would be a great stadium for this deck. I could cut the 2 Fiery Torch for 2 Scorched Earth stadiums. This deck doesn't seem to have a lot of room for change. Maybe -1 Shauna for +1 VS Seeker(?)

Here's my build to help you get a better idea of how the deck runs, the Torchic's I run in here all have Ancient Trait abilities:

Pokemon (14)

4-2-4 Blaziken (Furious Fists)
2 Trevenant-EX (Primal Clash)
2 Solrock (Primal Clash)

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums (32)

4 N
4 Skyla/Teammates
4 Rare Candy
4 Muscle Band
4 Ultra Ball
3 Blacksmith
3 Scorched Earth
2 Lysandre
2 Energy Retrieval
2 VS Seeker

Energy (14)

4 Double Colorless Energy (DCE)
10 Fire Energy

Deck Total (60)

Solrock is in here to help get DCE in hand with Solar Generator plus it benefits off of Teammates to get 2 other cards out of your deck knowing that your opponent will draw a prize off of Solrock especially with the abundance of Pokemon-EX's in the format. While Skyla is better than Teammates she's not as situational for getting the Rare Candies you need to try to get your setup going, Ancient Trait Torchic's Flare Bonus is nice for when you've used Lysandre to help buy yourself some time.
