Also note that Wailord has a 25% chance of not being able to attack due to the sleep flips following your and your opponent's turns. Thus, if Wailord has any Damage Counters on it at all upon the first usage of his attack, he will then do an average of 45 damage a turn for FOUR energies. He will also heal anywhere from 0-2 damage counters during each full turn (0-4 if you want to bring Leftovers into this), and your following attack will most likely be skipped should Wailord heal a whole 2 damage counters.

That said, his HIGH HP and auto-regen allow him to wall many opponents.
