Premier Challenges are a new local-level VG tournament that award Championship Points!
To play, all you need is a Nintendo 3DS family system, a copy of Pokémon X or Pokémon Y, and a legal team. This event will be played using the 2013-2014 VG Standard Format. Double battle, swiss rounds
Before attending, please ensure that you have downloaded the most recent Pokémon X/Y update from the Nintendo eShop (version 1.2 as of this writing). Also, if your 3DS system has Parental Controls enabled, please disable them for the event or be prepared to share your Parental Controls PIN with tournament staff upon request. Tournament staff may need to have your 3DS access the Internet to perform required integrity checking on your team.
Special Cases and Notes Top Cut matches are Best of 3
Top Cut is Single Elimination Swiss Rounds are Best of 1
If there are under 8 TOTAL players at a tournament, no Championship Points are awarded This is for all events except US Nationals/Worlds, which may be different from above - TBD
