For the Pokemon Trainer Club account, what is a game sync ID?

You game sync ID links your My Pokemon account to your DS save game.
To get your game sync ID, start your DS game to the point where it says "Continue, new game, mystery gift,..." and one of the options is Game sync settings. Selecting that will give you a game sync ID to link your DS, save game, and My Pokemon account all together.
If you decide to start over on your game, you will need to contact Pokemon customer service to have them delete the link between your game and My Pokemon account.
