On Sunday the 14th of November 2010 GamesCon Leicester will be taking place and among the many tournaments there is a Pokemon Tournament.

Tickets for the Pokemon tournament are £12 and if you just want to visit the show tickets are £6

This Pokemon tournament is not run in the normal way :eek: Instead of having 3 age groups this will be a Rogue tournament where you can end up playing anybody:thumb:

There will be prizes for the winning players and we will also award the highest finishing younger players.


If winning prizes is something you like (and who doesn't :biggrin: ) then check out our Facebook page where we are running a competition and you don't even need to buy a ticket to be able to win.

Later this week we will be running a Pokemon competition where can win some Pokemon boosters :thumb:
 
No points at stake, so no reason to drop from the tournament after round one just because some 5 year old wooped you :tongue:

In the past I have seen many players drop from a tournament to protect their points and you are free to do this. This tournament is a day of fun and fun games so by not having a K value it stops people dropping early in the day.

pesky 17 characters that forces you to type loads of irrelevant rubbish. Though I'm quite good at speaking rubbish at times typing such seems excessive. Oh look more than 17 characters and the one minute post restriction should be up by now too Click

We have just put a Pokemon competition on Facebook. The prize is: 2x HS Unleashed and 1x HS Undaunted boosters.

Just search GamesCon Leicester on Facebook and all the details are there.

(please note that younger Pokemon players should ask permission to visit Facebook!)

Who do I talk to if GamesCon Leicester wants to run a free competition to win Pokemon boosters through this forum.
Our Facebook competition is working well for us but we feel that Pokegym deserves our love :cool:
 
Sunday the 14th of November is getting close and we have a lot of interest from people who play all manner of games.

It is set to be an awesome day. The Pokemon Tournament will start at 10am with entry into the Tournament hall from 9.30

You know what? I feel like giving things away to one of the people on this forum :thumb:

So anybody who comes to the Pokemon Tournament at gamescon-leicester this Sunday and brings with them a print of ANY page from the PokeGym forum that has their username mentioned they will be entered into a prizedraw for a Pokemon goodie bag.
 
Well I might go to this, looks like fun. Though just half an hour between opening up and starting is a bit tight for my tastes...
