So let's say Gardevoir (BW - Next Destinies #57/99) was on the bench, while Mewtwo-EX (BW Promo #45) was the active Pokémon. 2 questions:
1. Mewtwo EX has 2 basic psychic energy on it. Would he do 80 damage instead of 40?
2. Mewtwo EX still has 2 basic psychic energy. If it were to retreat, would it have to discard 1 energy or both?
