pokemon:

3-3-4 gengar (curse, and poltegiest... going to probably get gengar lv. X soon)
1-1-1 dusknoir
1-1 mr. mime
1 spiritomb (need more of those)

TRAINERS/SUPPORTERS

2 energy searches
2 potions
2 warp points
3 super scoop ups
4 bebe's searches
1 dusk ball
1 team galactic mars
2 team galactic's wager
3 roseanne's research
3 copycat
2 night maintnence
3 moonlight stadium

ENERGIES:
1 darkness
2 speacial darkness
11 psychic

STRATEGY:
basic cursegar strategy with a slight twist... dusknoir! while gengar is powering up and mr. mime is active, i get dusknoir out and do damage to them while their attatching energy and blocking their attacks wit mr. mime. dusknoir should make them afraid to attach energy. then, i get moonlight stadium, get gengar out, and you know the rest.

PS. Once i get a garchomp C lv. X Im thinking of making a blaziken FB and garchomp C deck! (Blazechomp!) Whaddaya think?

Go buy a world champion deck and look at the deck lists inside and compare them to yours. Your trainer line is bizarre, you have a little more than half of the pokemon that you would need, and you have way too much psychic energy.

Here are some ideas:

4 Gastly
3 Haunter(all gastly and haunter cards from Stormfront)
1 Gengar From Stormfront
2 Gengars from Arceus
1 Gengar Level X when you get one.

At least 3 Spiritomb

Dusknoir is good.

2 Mr. Mime!

1 Unown G

1 Unown Q

1 Uxie is definitely a great card to include in this(any) deck.

2-2 Claydol is crucial here.

Azelf is also a good idea in case you really need Dusknoir.

Don't put Energy Search or Potion in any deck.

Try to avoid Team Galactic's Mars.

Try around 7 psychic energy, and add in a couple of call energies and warp energies.

Max out your Roseanne's and Bebe's to 4.

In addition to that, you should play at least 3 Rare Candies.

2 Moonlight Stadium should be okay with Unown Q in the deck.

2 Expert Belt- Run and hide for 80 damage a turn.

Luxury Ball and perhaps some other pokemon search cards like Professor Elm should be included to help you get your Gengars set up fast.

-2 mr mime, +2 tomb

Then what do you do against gyarados...2 mr mime is good if they have no energy you hit them for 80(ebelt) and hide behind two mime..now they can't regi move into something else or cyclone because you have to mimes down.

Alright guys, thanks for the help, i will work on this deck some more but i've decided to use my blaziken deck for regionals. @ LTA: i'll try to take as much of your changes to the deck, and sorry, i have a habit of when i've added all the trainers i think i needed, i just stuff a bunch of random filers in there.

@ laugh: Thanks.

@ EVERYBODY : thank you for the help i apreciate it and gengar is my favorite pokemon.

PS: NOBODY at states would trade their gengar lv. X's.

EDIT: actually, i WILL use this deck.

To be completely honest, Gengar is going to be a difficult win to pull off even with the perfect decklist played by the best players with all of the Sableye/Honchkrow decks running around. Gengar is still a very fun deck to play, so play what you like the best.
