Giant Robot Episodes

So, for various reasons, I'll be showing my teammates a bunch of different giant robot anime. The primary purpose is not to watch and enjoy them for the plot, but to watch many different episodes of different shows in one sitting for the over-the-top giant robot action.

So, I already had some in mind, but I was looking for input for shows, and in particular specific episodes of those shows to watch for good action scenes.

The current shows I had in mind are:
Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann (most likely the last two episodes)
Yuusha Ou GaoGaiGar (Final)
Super Robot Taisen: OG
Kidou Senshi Gundam 00
Kidou Butouden G Gundam (maybe)
Kotetsushin Jeeg
Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z-Hen
Mazinkaiser
Shin Getter Robo
Gigantic Formula
Juusou Kikou Dancouga Nova
GEAR Fighter Dendoh
Top wo Nerae 2! - Diebuster

We most certainly won't get through all of those, but if anyone has additional (better) suggestions for series or even suggestions for specific episodes of the series listed, I would like your input.

I shouldn't have to say this, but don't mention Evangelion. :\

Crap. I was just about to mention Evangelion.
Why would you do such a thing? :( I've never actually watched Eva through, but I hear the budget ran out mid-way and even before there wasn't that many decent fights. Additionally, any movies would be too long for the event.

What kind of team is this lol?
Game team. As in, the team I will be making a video game with for at least the next year for college.

There are some pretty nice fight scenes in Code Geass, but its not all Giant Robots...

Ah, right. I forgot about Code Geass since I don't really think of it as a mech show. It did have some nice robot fight scenes, so I may look into finding a good episode.

Not only does Code Geass have some nice fight scenes, it also employs intense strategy as well. I have alwasy wanted to play a game based around this anime. There is also Eureka 7. I always liked that one as well.

The game will be most likely not be heavily strategic in that sense. We currently aren't planning on giving the player any units other than their own with which to fight off hordes of other robots.

Evangelion is one of my favorite series, but it's not a mech anime by any means. It's much more of a psychological foray and is more plot than action.
Definitely check it out, though. The movie was mind-blowing and there are two newer ones that came out not long ago.

I'm planning on watching the Rebuild movies as they come out. However, I'm waiting for a not cam-rip of 2.0 before I watch it, but I digress.

The first series of FMP isn't bad for robots, but that's closer to gundam in terms of how much they completely ruin physics.

There's always Big O, too.

Yeah any of the Gundams are good ones. I WOULD recommend SEED,(GREAT series, it's got some GREAT fight scenes) but I know how some of you feel about that series, so we'll just stay clear of that minefield.

I enjoyed "Full Metal Panic!", but like Code Geass, it had a good story and not all mech fighting scenes.

Eva is a series you have to be a hardcore anime fan to really appreciate and enjoy, and the fight scenes really aren't even fight scenes until late in the series. You should watch it eventually, but I wouldn't recommend it for this situation.

There is Aquarion. It does have some nice fight scenes, if you know which episodes to watch. The rest could just be classified as awkward teen drama. Oh wait all anime has that.

That's all that comes to mind right now.

The last 3 episodes of both Geass seasons have some very impressive Mech fights.
