Giratina ex AO vs M Sceptile

Hello,

I Know that Giratina ex stops M Sceptile due to his abillity vs Mega Pokémon.

But. does the Abillity also stop Mega Sceptile from attaching energies to his benched pokemon?

The energy attachment is not being done to Giratina EX so Garatina EX does not stop it.

You know that the damage is blocked?
This is something that the Rules Team and Pokemon R&D feel that they should check with Japan to be sure about.
Granted, I think you are correct, but it's not 100% certain until we hear back from Japan.
