Its a set released in Japan. It will come out over here in August, and it will be themed majorly around Lugia and Ho-oh, which is 95% certain to be implemented into the name of the set (a la EX Deoxys).

Yes exactly, and then EX Mew for Eidolon Forest. It really does make sense.... what "event" will the US release of GS/SS be most likely timed with..... Lugia/Ho-oh Navel Rock GBA events.

Its a very good set, a lot of big playable cards.
 
Lugia EX..... destructive yet almost impossible to run. Later sets lack energy manipulation.....
 
Hi folks,

In case Hidden Legend remains in modified look into Walrein and Magcargo to fuel Lugia Ex. Hand them one or two nice Lightness Berries and the fuel problem should be drastically reduced. It's a classic Element Clash deck in essence. There is still a lot of energy manipluation left when we have a second look at the sets :wink:.

Well true but its kinda relavant to GS/SS only maybe a little bit sidetracked..... What cards in it could be playable? Maybe based on what they can be comboed with but leave it at a hypothetical format! LOL
 
As they said , Lugia EX is almost unplayable considering you need to discard all energies attached. Lugia EX is quite risky to considering it's an EX with not so high HP. Late in the game it might be useful but on the first few rounds it might just be a load of crap.

Not discard ALL, discard 3 - 1 of each type required for the attack!
 
Well true, you could've stacked energies on it with Flygon, all you have to discard is RWL (the attack is Elemental Blast - remember it?). I wanna find a good way of playing Lugia EX just for the sake of it.

Lugia > Almost All
