Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Good Wii Games?

Pokemon BR is just about the WORST game they ever made for the Wii....

Its a compleat waste of time and money. The menue is annoying, the game is annoying, and dumb, and the graphics are horrible. I could go on with reasones not to buy it. If you don't believe me go to ign or some other website that does reviewes and you'll see that I'm right. Pokemon is better on the DS.

PBR is not that great of a game it was more ment as a 3d battle system for the DS games.
Plus battling random people over WIFI is a great feature.

Homebrew Channel RULES!

get the fire emblem series, they are the best games ever (that and pokemon). i would start with playing the first english one (the best one story wise) for the GBA. then play the second one for the GBA (this one u can train till your hearts desire, but it's simple, i think an adult could beat it in a week, if u can't, i might be smarter than u, and i'm 12). then get path of radiance of the GC (good game, tough, never beat it, friend wanted it back). then gget the final game (never played it, my friend was addicted though).

Oh yeah. Forgot about the VC. Get Super Mario RPG. Fantastic game, even if the levelup system is kinda broke...

Galaxy is amazing, and Super Paper Mario is fun as well, and PBR is NO! If it had a plot line and shadow Pokemon, and Battle CDs, it would be great, but you can't catch any Pokemon on it besides the Pikachu, Electrivire, and Magmortar.

hmm.... Anyone think Super Monkey Ball would be a good game to get???
Woah, no way man! My friend has that game, and he doesn't like it. when I went over to his house and we played it, Sega completely destroyed the series with corny motion sensing movement that is no fun and just frusterating. The game seemed to mainly be about crappy mini games. Steer clear! Only the game cube monkey balls are any good.

PBR is good for some one like me who has bros with DSs and you don't. The only good parts about it are getting pikachu, magmortar and electivire, the mystery gifts and being able to battle random people online. But the thing about online play is that you can face hackers and uber users.

It's kinda funny how you insult his intelligence saying he isn't competent enough to beat FE8 in a week, yet you claim FE9 is difficult when it is by far the easiest game in the series.

Anyway, Path of Radiance requires no prior venture into the series, Radiant Dawn does since it is its sequel.

First, congrats on getting your Wii.

The games I like are (not in any specific order):
WiiFit
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Super Mario Galaxy
Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Mario Kart Wii
Mario Party 8
Pokemon Battle Revolution

On a note, I stood in line for an hour to get 1 of 3 copies of WiiFit at my local Circuit City store and I was fortunate enough to get the 3rd copy. Others were not so fortunate and unfortunately, that store did not get any Wii consoles people wanted either. After i got the WiiFit home, my fiancee and I played it and love it.

Here are the games I reccomend:

Super Mario Galaxy
Sonic and the Secrete Rings (party mode sucks, but the single player mode is awesome)
Metroid Prime Corruption
Mario Kart Wii

Hope you'll enjoy your Wii.

My favorite wii games other than brawl:
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Super Mario Galaxy
Mario Kart wii

Games that attract suckers like me to buy them, but end up failing:
Wii Play
Pokemon Battle Revolution

wii play gets old quickly, and PBR gets old after the first 2 seconds of playing it. Play the battle tower instead of PBR. :)

Please have fun with your new wii.

:thumb: Games That I Recommend: :thumb:
Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (random games are fun, makes a good game to play with others)
Mario Party 8 (like the others but you can use blooper or hammer bro as charecters)
Mario Kart Wii (very addictive game play plus the ability to Wi-Fi with up to 12 other people and you can also enter tourneys over Wi-Fi)
The Lengend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess (very good story along with great side-quest and game play)
Guitar Hero III (good selection of songs and multi-player)
Boom Blox (similiar to jenga execpt with a twist)
Super Mario Galaxy (impressive graphics and even more addictive game-play along with intresting worlds)
No More Heros (only get this game if gore, violence, and if foul langauge does not offend you, NOT FOR ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 16)
Batallion Wars 2 (makes very good use of the wii-mote and nunchuk, also very good Wi-Fi ability, and good and entertaining story)
Super Mario Strikers: Charged (good game play that requires some strategy, and good Wi-Fi)
Super Paper Mario (very funny game, good use of 2-D/3-D flipping to enhance game play, ONLY downside the game can be beaten within a couple of days)

:nonono: Games That I Think Are A Huge Waste Of Money And To Stay Away From: :nonono:
Pokemon Battle Revolution (nothing to do execpt battle, no mini-games, no story, just a 3-D Pokemon Viewer, the negatives far out way the positives, avoid at all costs)

You forgot Brawl!!!:eek::eek::eek:

I agree 100% with you on PBR. HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

If you like pinball, I heartily reccomend Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection. 10 tables. I've seen it for 19.99 at Target-an absolute steal.
