Great Encounters Darkrai Revealed

Darkrai and its lvl X is definitely over hyped, a lot!!

Getting darkrai to its lvl X requires you to waste loads of resources just to get it out, get it to the active spot, and then switching back to the bench. Its a really big liability and has consistency and speed problem in this fast-paced metagame.

So, I doubt that darkrai is gonna win.

The only Pokemon, that I can think of, between Darkrai and Cresselia that would be "worthy" of being a star holo would be Crobat. Other than that, it has to be another Drak or Cres.
 
I can't remember exactly, off the top of my head, that Darkrai lv.X does, but I feel it'd have to be pretty messed up to even pose any threat against Gallade. I'd hate to see another good card become unplayable just because it can't stand up to overpowered cards.

I don't think that the Lv. 38 Darkrai looks better...

Anyway, something tells me that Darkrai will get play, not much albeit but enough. My friend and I have already found some game winning combos with it. Although I won't be using it.
 
Darkrai looks like he could reach out of the card and grab you. Brrrr.

His attacks are merely OK (but not terrible if you start with him), but his Lvl. X is better.

#3 is the other Darkrai and Pachirisu is #5 but that doesn't guarantee phione.

You can have :dark: pokemon that ARNT pokemon with "dark" in their names

these are 2 totally different concepts

noted by the "Dark Snesisel" that we had a few sets back

Snesisel is :dark: type, but also the card has "dark" in its name

Theoretically, you could have a "Teams Rocket's Dark Snesisel"

will this work with scrambles,dre or castforms or do they have to be basic
 
darkHYPO: With the text that you provided, it would only work with basic Darkness Energy cards (as stated by the text "All Basic Darkness Energy cards").

I personally like the card, but don't think I'll use it much. It's just another collect card for my binder.
