Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Great Encounters. What do you wanna try??

Porygon Z is nice,Holon energy friendly since its colorless, and his power makes the matchup so much better. His pre form makes him to setup much more easier in my opinion. A decktype can be made out of it,since it only takes 2 and can do 120 possibly or OHKO anything with the right discard.

Darkria Lv.X/Weavile/Delcatty FTW NO BLISSEY!!

1. Wailord. The opponent will get SO mad when he can't kill me and I'm three-hit-KOing him.

2. Porygon-Z. Even if he's flippy, he's averaging 80-160 damage!

3. Pachirisu. Best starter in the format. Enough said.

4. Claydol. ABSOL COUNTER!!!!!!!!!!

5. Cresselia Lv.X. If it wasn't for Magmortar, this would be #1. You take 2 Prizes when you KO something. The return of EXs?

6. Premier Ball. Finally, Lv.Xs may be faster!

7. Moonlight Stadium. FREE RETREAT WITH WEAVILE SW!!

8. Porygon-2. Extra Supporter when the Stage 2 is so good? I'll take that!

9. Darkrai Lv.X. Most flippy card in the format! Now all we need is a Body like Toxicroak's, just for Sleep...

10. Cresselia. One of the most underated cards in the new set, it heals one of you Pokemon to FULL HP, WHILE doing 50? All for the price of a discard and 3 Energies...

EDIT: Skull Bash, please tell us what the "best card in the set" is.

I cant believe the lack of love for togekiss, and to say his attack is lame. attack of 40 right off bat and if you roll heads add 30 more tails take 30 hp off togekiss. Also the pokebody can set up your intire bench with energy if lucky with draw 10 cards and place any energies on pokemon in play.

It's not draw 10, it's look at the top 10, then shuffle non energies back in. BIG difference...and probably the reason why people aren't going nuts over it.

The problem is... His attack... IS bad, unless you're getting it out turn 2 or something. Even then, it's below average damage IF YOU GET HEADS :/
But that Power is amazing, should you get lucky. What if you don't get lucky? Oh boy, here comes some pain...
I'd like Togekiss, but it's so... Luck Reliant. Not to mention the basic and stage 1 aren't particularly interesting (unlike say, Blaziken), thus it's not too exciting.

In 10 cards, there's probably 3/4 energies in there. Wasting so much resources just to attach 3 extra energies in the mid game isn't worth it,

If you have something useful to attack with... Attaching 3 energy out of nowhere isn't half bad. It can be any color of basic energy too, unlike Blastoise who restricts you to water (which actually isn't too bad, now) and ends your turn. 3 energy can definitely mean the difference between you attacking for game, or being overwhelmed and losing very badly.

Just the lame basic/stage 1, lack of free retreat (Whyyyy?), and luck based power is very deterring.

Kinda sad when I looked at Houndoom again... It says discard a dark or fire energy... Meaning you can do 1, the other, or neither. Not both effects. Dang. [del]Doesn't change the fact that every game I won at the prerelease this sunday had Houndoom attacking for the last prize...! Don't know how that happened, but it did! :D[/del]

If we had a reliable pickup trainer like Briney's Compassion, I feel Togekiss might see more play. At least Togekiss isn't plauged by having the worst weakness in the game (fighting) right now.

Yea... Wailord would be plain broken, you could barely touch it then, bam they scoop it up. Think, Gallade flips all prizes or close to kill next turn (assuming WP), then Brineys! :O XP

I want to do some experimenting with Gallade/Gardevoir + Cresselia Lv.X. That thing is so über.

cresselia x is a good tech, building up energy is slow, but teleporting and switching with pheobe's or moonlit (pheobe's if not playing darkness)

it's weakness and hp are horrible considering energy requirements
