Does anyone KNOW FOR SHURE that the unown rule is not on the new unown, being that u can us 4 or each unown in ur deck, not 4 cards with unown in their name in your deck?

As far as I know, each Unown's name is "Unown." Not "Unown Q" or "Unown N" like before. Someone correct me if I'm wrong... but you can only have 4 cards named "Unown" in your deck.

Acctually the unown's names unclude the Letter or Symbol, meaning unown [A] name would be unown [A] and not unown. Same follows with blaine's quiz #3, they not only have to state that it's an unown, but which unown it is, like if it's unown [A] or something along that line.

As for whether they'll restrict the unowns to four per deck or not, I'm not completely sure about it. Though this unown card does give strong evidence that they aren't gonna be restrictions on unowns, otherwise it would be pointless to say it can't add more than 60 when there could only be a max of four unown.

Unown(V) [P] 60HP
Basic

Poke-Power: Shuffle
Once during your turn (before you attack), you may search you deck for another Unown and swicth it with Unown. (Any cards attached to Unown, damage counters, Special Conditions, and effects on it are now on the new Pokemon). If you do, put Unown on top of your deck. Shuffle your deck afterwards. You can't use more than 1 Shuffle Poke-Power each turn.

[P][C][C] Hidden Power : 20+
This attack does 20 + 10 more damage for each Unown card in your Discard Pile. You can add more than 60 damage in this way.

Weakness: [P] | Resistance: none | Retreat: [C]

I think that every Unown is simpled called "Unown". If not, you can't apply this power because there aren't pokemon called "Unown", but only "Unown A", "Unown B", etc. etc.

I asked this question before, the Unown V that was quoted above is actually a mis-translation. The card should say: ...does 20 plus 10 for each pokemon card in your discard.

All the Unowns have the same name. And you can only have a total of 4 in your deck, even if they are all different Unowns.

I think the rules should be changed. We should be able to play an unlimited number of Unowns in any deck. thus the first line in my sig.

I'd say that the rule will happen, but let them run free at the Prerelease! Please!

*Imagines Unown Swarm, with 18 Unowns, 4 Trainers, and 18 Psychic Energy*

I'd SOO love to play an Unown Swarm deck. IF the rule is changed, Unowns will actually be worth playing.

As for the rule, it seems pretty definite that the 4 Unowns per deck rule will remain.

Well, in a Limited event, you can have as many of a card as you want. Again, someone correct me if I'm wrong. That might just have been a WotC rule.

The only differentiating feature in GSSS (that will presumably carry over to UF) is that the unowns all have different pictures.
